Popeyes

I stopped by this location on the Friday before what was to be the big snow storm of 2016 (SMH) and the service was just horrible. I went inside because the drive thru was backed up. Once inside I saw several people waiting around for food and then once I ordered I waited as well. 15 minutes after I ordered the manager comes out fussing at the workers to get the food ready. Well guess what? there was no chicken to bag orders with and the workers were fussing back at the manager (so unprofessional). Thirty minutes later we all got our food and headed out the door.

Looooove Popeyes biscuits!!! And the seasoning on their chicken is better than KFC and Church’s to me. Anyhow, I always get the 2-​piece dark with a biscuit. It’s always hot and tastes great. The red beans and rice are a fave of mine. Never crowded… that’s supposed to be a bad thing, right? Haha. Well, not for me. Quicker service. I had to take a star off because they absolutely refuse to keep their tea fresh. 4 stars.

Very good service and the fastest Popeyes I’ve ever been to! I was literally in and out through the drive thru. Definitely a first!

Update: I made a complaint with 800# and left message for the manager to call and after 24 hours I didn’t hear anything so I called the store again. This time I spoke with the manager and she states she was gonna call me. She offered to replace the order for me and to call before hand and would drop the chicken fresh for me. I called the next day as instructed and spoke with another manager names Jessica whom was extremely rude and combative. After several minutes of explaining what I was told, I told her I would be there to pick it up in 10 minutes and would it be fresh. I guess that struck a nerve as she began to let me know she was busy and to just come. When I get there, Jessica didn’t want to handle the issue and told Angela the shift manager to deal with it. Angela was courteous and professional. I get there to get the chicken and guess what? Yep… They out of wings! You just can’t win at this Popeye’s!!! Stay away if you can!!!

Went here today on my lunch break. Service was super slow. Looks like they had a new employee working the register and a manager fulfilling orders. The new employee was easily confused and the manager didn’t offer much guidance. Orders were backed up, customers had to wait for chicken to be cooked. It took over 20 mins for us to get our food.
My coworkers and I ate inside but saw plenty of cars in the drive thru having to pull up and wait for their food.
This place needs some new management or something. This was a horrible experience.

This was the worst Popeyes I ever had and the service was horrible. My chicken was cold and I ordered rice with gravy ($.50) but they gave me a teaspoon of gravy. The soda taste like they never cleaned the machine. I will never return to this Popeyes!

«Pull up» «wait over there…» that’s all you get from this ratchet ass Popeye’s. I wanna curse them out and more importantly i wanna curse in all caps in this review, but I won’t. Pulled up with my beau tonight and ordered their $ 4.99 crackled pepper shrimp or whatever it’s called. I had my mouth ready to try the blackened tartar sauce… but nooooo we paid and was told to pull in a parking spot — the other «waiting» spot was taken. So we parked and I knew it! They forgot about us. After checking the receipt and the time, 15 minutes had passed. I was livid. It does NOT take that long to drop fish & shrimp. The beau goes in and comes right back out. «That shit wasn’t even on the board. They didn’t have our order.» WHAT?! He then went on to say the the manager asked if he wanted to order something for his wait — AFTER we pulled off. Hell yeah I do… did.whatever. As convenient as this place is from the crib, there are plenty of other seafood options around Mableton, just not fast food tho. Which is fine, I don’t need to be eating it anyway.

We had such a great experience here. Job well done to Vicky Embry and her team. Vicky herself models superior customer service. Thank you.
