Meet the Manager

Eric L.

Manager

Eric came to the parks & recreation department in October of 2011 as the Director. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Administration from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, IL. He also is working on obtaining his Master’s in Public Administration from Governors State University. He has previously worked as a Recreation Supervisor at the Downers Grove Park District where he oversaw all adult athletics as well as was the liaison to many community sports organizations. Before there he was the Athletic Supervisor for the Channahon Park District where he oversaw all youth and adult athletics. One of the highlights of his time in Channahon was the two annual road running races he oversaw. During his time there both races saw record runner numbers. The Frosty 5 Mile race had over 300 runners for the first time in the over 30 years of the race.
