Awesome deli sandwiches and snacks to prep you for your future hike! My turkey sandwich really hit the spot and the bread was killer !

Be ready to have time to shop for 3 months worth of groceries while you wait and wait and wait and wait for your sandwich to be made. Guys, if you’re going to call this place a deli, be prepared for customers to actually come in for JUST A sandwich

This is a neat little place. I’ll go there if I need some milk or bread and don’t want to drive all the way to King Soopers or Safeway. When I have guests visiting from out of town, I like to take them here for their sandwiches.

This place has delicious sandwiches, baked goods, and deli items, good produce and meat, and overall a great selection of healthy and organic food stuffs. I would and have recommended it to many, many people, but just be forewarned that you will be paying health food store and small town prices combined — this place ain’t cheap!

Stopped in for quick sandwiches to go. The deviled egg salad on marble rye and the Californian on sourdough. Both sandwiches were very good, homemade bread made it all the better. I would not suggest the egg salad to go only because it is a messy sandwich. Checked the store out while they made the sandwiches very cute produce looked very fresh and they had a wide variety of desserts. We were just passing thru Lyons but I would recommend giving this a try if you are in the area.

Woe is anyone who fails to revel in the virtues of this wonderful market. They stock an impressive array of high quality foods for such a small town. The staff is reliably friendly. The bakery/bread items are top notch and the house-made sausages and bratwurst are outstanding(this coming from a Wisconsinite!) The hours are regular and generous. Of course the prices are high — they have to be to maintain such a high quality food stock in such a low volume market. I am quite confident that the owners are NOT getting rich off the profits. I just pray they keep up the great work. Lyons is dang lucky to have such a wonderful resource.

I have been to the market a few times for lunch. The sandwiches are made with excellent quality ingredients. The prices may seem a little high, but you get what you pay for. My wife has also brought home some of their soups. All have been excellent! Their bakery goods are to die for.

Third time coming just for their delicious in-house made croissant. I love this market for their amazing bakery. Sadly it’s in Lyons so far from home. Just like the other reviews this market has a taste for everyone even Vegan bakery? I’ll gladly come in again whenever I’m near.

Great little market with lots of sustainable and organic options. My mom got a sourdough and a gluten-free peach pie and said they were both incredible! Wonderful owners, too. Just really good people.

Awesome deli, feels like a place you’d find back East. Fresh meats, lotsa love added and great small town feel. Perfect stop off on your way up to Estes for a hike or picnic in the woods.

I only go to this little place when everything else is closed. Although the new owners did fix the place up and made it presentable, that is all that they managed to do. The few times that I have gone there, I find the employees are clueless, extremely UN-helpful, and they don’t hide how much they despise their customers. Did I mention that they are condescending, too? If you can stand the high prices and the staff’s lousy, condescending attitudes, then shop here, by all means. However, I’d much rather that everyone in the area stopped going to this market and started shopping elsewhere. This is one store that I want to see go OUT of business. Let a more competitive owner hire an agreeable and intelligent staff. .

The Market has done such a great job! I love this place! Have been visiting Lyons every summer for the last ten years and the market was a less than desirable place. It has been turned into an exquisite little grocery for staple needs and for tasty treasures. They have a local baker for daily breads and I am dying for more of the Sundried Tomato bread! Fantastic stuff and I am so glad to see them doing so well!

I miss this place more than you could possibly imagine. This place makes me want to move to Colorado just because of this market. I know that sounds a little odd, But the bread pudding muffins are to DIE for! If someone could just give me the recipe to that I would be forever grateful as I can bake up some wonders and isn’t hard for me to get it down. I happen to know the owners of this place and they are some amazing people and am glad they bought the place and made this place beautiful and a place I talk about all the time and want to go back too all the time. One of these days I will make my way back to my dads house so I can get my muffin!

From one traveler to another(or many): Look quick! hook a right at the light after St Vrain Market and then hook a right on the next street to visit Steamboat Mountain grocery. Or, shop in advance of coming to Lyons. St Vrain has always been on the more expensive side … but this last weekend when we visited, the prices had appeared to take quite a significant hike from our last foray within this year. St Vrain has a fun & unique selection of items — a reputation well-deserved — but so does the Steamboat Mountain around the corner — and their prices are so much more palatable. I am sad to share this as I have several«schwag» items from St Vrain and enjoy telling our friends — who covet my tote bag, shirt & mug w/the hen on them — about what a cute, cool outpost the market is. I just cannot, in good faith, tell my compadres to visit a market with 60−100% markup.

I am really impressed with the new changes that have been made at the market. I love how convenient it is to have them down the street. It’s very clean in there, and the atmosphere feels so open and fresh! The bakery items are awesome. I loooove the sanwhiches they make at the deli. Can’t wait for the new patio to be done. That’s going to be fun.

I live in Lyons, and was overjoyed when this old school super market got a much-needed makeover. The work looks great, and the market layout(considering it diminutive size) has a much brighter, neighborhood market feel that makes it feel unique. They do a pretty solid job of stocking some higher-end staples/basics. The problem is then… the prices. They are simply inexcusable. They are 7 miles from all the major supers, not 170 miles. I sort of make mental comparisons with them and King Soopers – which is not really an apples to apples, I understand that. They are way out of whack – navigating on average between 30%-75% more expensive. On everything. Seriously? I’d like to support in-town businesses, but at their pricing… it is a place of last resort.

Kudos to whoever bought and spruced up this place! What was once really just a glorified convenient store is now a bright, lovely and welcoming neighborhood market stocked with just about anything you could want(at least for our weekend visit). It really looks beautiful. And they are always stocking the front display case with fresh from the oven baked goods. Like blondies. The best blondies you’ve ever had. So good that you may find yourself buying — I dunno — a blondie for every day your in town. They’re that good people. I don’t lie about dessert.

Recently re-opened and re-modeled by a nice, local couple. Good selection of groceries, dairy, and other things that those of us that live in Lyons may not want to go all the way to boulder for(Infant Tylenol!!). They also have a fair selection off organics. Prices are a bit higher than a larger grocery, but thats to be expected. Havent tried the Deli.
