OMG! I finally found Tammy after almost 2 years! I have tried several different nail spa’s BUT no one can compare. Not only does she create amazing designs, she really cares about nail care. My toe nails are very weak right now because of improper handling by other salons. In just one visit, Tammy has gotten my feet back on track for the summer! She is a treasure that I will not lose again. Thank you TAMMY and Tyson Nail Spa for taking such good care of me and my husband!!!

I visited my cousin for a week and she asked me if we want to spend some girls’ time together. So we both went to this nail salon which is her favorite place ever. I was impressed at their professional job and she did exactly the coffin shape that I requested. Definitely come back recommended for my friends when I come back to this area again.

Horrible waxing service. Unsanitary (they double dip the stick into the wax) and inefficient. You will need to finish off their wax work with tweezers at home. At one point the lady started using a razor because her waxing skills sucked so bad. I stopped her immediately. It was so hard to communicate my concerns with their lack of English. I’ve gotten waxing services at more professional (equally expensive) locations and they don’t take as long as they did here. Waxes aren’t fun. I’m no newbie to them, but this one was slow and torturous. Absolutely HORRIBLE!

I used to be a regular here for a few months until Tyson yelled at me because they were trying to charge me more than usual and I expressed to him that the guy was doing a bad job to top it off. I do not deserve to be yelled at and treated that way, no one does. I have since taken my business elsewhere.
They are so dirty, meaning they reuse the nail files to the point that they squeal when being used and they have no customer service.
I used to frequent there only because it was convenient and cheap. I guess you get what you pay for.

Nov 23 I came in a day before thanksgiving right before closing! I spoke with Tyson while I was on the freeway and asked if I had time to come in for a fill. He said yes and I got there around 10minutes later. I needed a fill and pedicure. Tyson did my fill he was pretty quick and did a good job filling however he is a bit rough. He pushed my cuticles back hard with his nails before he started to use the electrical tool and I didn’t like that AT ALL!!! Everything else was great I showed him a picture and told him what type of design I wanted and he did a good job. My pedicure was ok but after coming home I realized the nail tech didn’t completely cover my toe nails with polish I ABSOLUTELY HATE THAT. A few of my stones have fallen off my nails and my toes are annoying me so tomorrow I will get the stones on my nails fixed and purchase the polish from them to fix my toes myself at home.
Nov 12 UPDATE. I walked in last night for a PEDI and fill. I really enjoyed my pedicure I got the $ 18.00 pedicure. My fill was not so nice. The nail tech cut my cuticles on 3 fingers with the electrical tool he used. I’m not much of a complainer but a day later my fingers hurt pretty bad. They didn’t bleed but they are very sore. I also got gel polish and my polish looks horrible on my nails .When you pay for gel you expect your polish/​nails to look amazing. Some of my fingers are dull looking and the polish looks a bit watered down. I really like this nail shop they have good customer service I don’t feel comfortable calling to complain and I don’t think I should have to pay I fix my nails a day later because of a bad polish job, super disappointed!
After searching high and low for a new nail shop I saw reviews on Unilocal and decided to take a chance. My cousin and I both needed pedis and I needed a fill. I wasn’t greeted when I walked in but it was pretty busy so I was bothered by that the owner was polite and I was seated immediately to get my fill. I have my real nails with an acrylic
cousin waited 15 – 20 mins for her pedi. Matt did my nails very nice! He reshaped them, payed attention to detail and gave me exactly what I asked for. Kim did my pedi she did a good job as well. I got the deluxe pedi with callus remover and scrub it felt amazing. My cousin wasn’t as happy as I was with her pedi lmao but she is a «complainer» she said the nail tech clumped polish on her toes… she called me a few hours after we left the nail shop and said her polish was smeared really bad so I guess we are going to make a quick trip back to get it fixed tomorrow. I posted my nails in Facebook and everyone asked me where did I go? Safe to say my nails are BOMB.
In total I payed 24 for a fill with gel polish
Plus 18 for a deluxe pedicure and $ 5.00 tip.
The prices are affordable and I will most definitely be back in 2 weeks.
BTW the owner provides complimentary bottle waters to the guests !!!

Love this place have been coming here every 2 weeks now. And I’ve also brought a few friends in and they love it! They always come back. And now I have cousins coming from Oregon to just do there lashes here because there good!

I’ve been coming here for a few months, and I still love it! I even brought my 8 year old in for her first mani and pedi, and they were so great with her that she can’t wait to come back. Matt’s my guy, he just does such a good job. He takes his time and my nails always come out looking so great, I always get compliments on them.

Stephanie recently started doing my manicures and I love her service:) Vivi use to do them now she is doing something else! I love my manicures done by Stephanie and my pedicures done by Mimi.

getting mani+pediCURES makes me feel all womanly… love getting them. this place is in the hood in a plaza that always seems to have no parking avail (it depends at what time you go)… well, when I go there is hardly any parking.
Once you are parked and walked inside Tyson nails you will be greeted by the kind ladies & Tyson himself. I love that they give you complimentary drinks (water bottles) & if you go on a busy Friday night they pour a glass of Rosé for you. So you can get happy happy while your cuticles are being tamed. (Win.)
I always get a gel manicure ($ 20) & the pedicure… the prices vary depending on which one your choose.
I recommend this place. Their gel color selection is on point and the ladies are so nice.

I came in because they had decent reviews and their pricing was very affordable but I guess you pay for what you get. I got a spa pedicure, again very cheap. But what kind of pedicure doesn’t include a minimum 5 minute massage, didn’t even get my feet lathered in lotion! Seriously I paid to dip my feet in warm water! Not to mention they did a terrible job cleaning up the edges. I’m sure they’ve had better days. Two stars for having matching gel and regular polish. They also have a sign outside that says gel polish $ 10 and they charged me $ 12. False advertisement!

I came here because it’s close to my house and thought it would be nice to try something new. Worst place ever! I hate the job they did on my gel my nails weren’t even fully painted and it was all choppy. And then they have a sign that says 9.99 $ gel. It’s a lie don’t fall for it. False advertising and cheap job! Never coming back here.

I can admit that I’ve been jumping from nail shop to nail shop for over 10 years. Tyson is definitely my place to go now! So glad I found them on Unilocal and met Matt! He is amazing. Young and enthusiastic about his work.

I love this place I’ve been coming here off and on for a year now! I love all the way in OC so when I’m in the area I stop by! Best colors always up to date with the newest nail trends, this Time I had my four-​month-​old baby with me and they were super cool about him. Thanks guys! U always hook my nails up !!

I came to this nail salon because I completely forgot that PolishMe nailbar across the street recently began closing Monday’s and didn’t want the drive to have been for nothing.
Upon entering, Tyson greeted us and asked us what services we’d be needing. My mom and I were there for mani pedi and it didn’t take long before they started working on us. The young man in the front offered us complimentary water and was extremely helpful.
I got the nail technician named Mimi who did an excellent job on my pedi and put up with my ticklish fits, lol. They used new gloves every time unlike Tj Nails in the nearby plaza (disgusting, I know).
The only thing keeping me from giving this place 5 stars is that they didn’t really have that great of a nail polish selection, just many similar ones and the towels on the head of the spa chairs seem to stay the same with every customer which deeply concerned my germaphobic mind. Otherwise this place is great!

I will never come back to this nail shop. We stopped by yesterday. I assumed since it was under management that it was going to be better but it was actually worse. Mind you my nails were already short and she still filed them down and cut the sides down so that was super painful. I was telling the lady that it was hurting and she smiled and went back to filing them down. She coated my nails with a lot of polish. I left the shop around 7pm and showered around 9pm and my nails were still fresh even after sitting in front of the fan for minutes. I also noticed by the time I got home that she didn’t use clear coat after the color coat. They also use the same tools, they just put it back in the basket to be reused on someone else. The place is super dirty and the nail booths are dusty with acrylic and nail dust residue. Never again. Super disappointed!

I got a full set with gel and paid 30 $ and they did a great job. The main owner the guy did my nails and Tammy colored them.
They did just a great job! I will come back

Tammy was SO sweet and great with my gel mani! Never really had a mani like I did with her. I had a my nail cracked and she fixed it with acrylic instead of just adding glue to it and she was talkative rather than ignore her customer and talk with her co-​workers. It always had made be a bit uncomfortable when I’m sitting at the chair and feel that the nail artist are talking about their customers and I didn’t feel like that one bit ! Lol
My gel mani was very professionally done and NEAT! No spills or weird shaped nails! Definitely will be coming back !!

I found Tyson Nails and Spa here on Unilocal.I was looking for a nail salon that specialized in designs because I wanted something fun for EDC.
Tyson took me in and fixed the hack job that the previous artist had done on my hands. He gave me a great shape and length.
Tammy took over and wow! She did such an incredibly unique design! My nails are so pretty and bright! It was everything that I wanted.
If you are looking for something fun and creative on your nails, this is the place! Super inexpensive, great service, you’ll love it here.

I’m visiting from Northern California and needed my nails done Bad. Looking through Unilocal I found Tyson and his beautiful wife Tammy. I showed Tyson a picture of designs I wanted and he said noooo problem. He started setting up my nails and then moved me along to Tammy to finish up the paint and designs. Tammy is amazing. She is very detailed and patient. She put in her own designs and changed a few things from the original design which was great because she gave attention to my nail length. She picked beautiful stones to place on my nails. She made sure they were placed right and Tammy reassured me they were going to stay in place. I LOVE MY NAILS! TAMMY did a beautiful job.
On to the waxing… Tammy was very light with her hand and felt no pain. She did my eyebrows beautiful.
Thank you Tyson and Tammy. I will visit you again when I am back.
