Matrix Tires

Great place for your tire repair needs. It is a family owned business. I came to have two tires replaced and a computerized alignment. You really have to give it to their workers, they work hard. The place itself is not inexpensive but you at least know that they are doing a good job.
The only reason I did not give them a 4 or 5 star review is for the following. Usually when you go to a repair shop, expect to get recommendations… with that said when a recommendation is made, you hope it is for the benefit of you as a customer. I was recommended to replace my shocks, breaks and do a drum cleaning in that order and coincidently from most expensive to least. I do a lot of work on my own cars and knew that I had a much longer life on my shocks and breaks. I then started noticing that everyone that came in was given recommendations and I honestly don’t think they needed them. For example, I observed a customer that came in with a nail in the tire. As soon as the tire came off the owner walked over to take a look and then to the customer to let him know that his break rotors are in dire need to be replaced. The customer declined. A few minutes later the owners wife walked over and made conversation with the customer then the owner came over to then smooth in the sales pitch about replacing his break pads. Now this type of up selling the customer happened with every single one. This is why I could not give them a higher rating. I don’t mind the recommendations, but would like to think that they are being made for the benefit of the customer and not JUST to add more money the repair bill.

I will never go here again to over priced $ 10 for a tire patch thats really expensive. I went to this location because its close to my house and i really needed my tire fixed but the owner made a real nasty little comment about my car i will never spend my money here again

If you Don’t want your Rims SCRATCHED I Recommend NOT taking you Vehicle here. Took my Brand new truck here to get a patch on my tire I had a nail in and they scratched my wheel. Told me it was my fault that I had curved them when I’m 100% sure I didn’t. And that I Was Cause they there Machine. Not only did they overprice the Repair but Also Scratched my Wheel.

Have been here a couple of times due to nails in my tires, the employees are great but this place is a bit over priced, the older man (whom I believe is the owner) decided to charge me thee dollars more to turn off the tire pressure sensor light the last time I went, I was in shock that should be part of the service all he had to do was push a button, I didn’t argue but due to that I will NOT be going back.

Matter resolved… but did not appreciate the owner’s daughter calling me shaddy and threatning me with calling the Sheriff if i did not sign the receipt!!! Since she knew I worked for them. This was a civil matter concerning my rotors. The owner ultimately made the decision to replace my damaged rotors free of charge. Thank you! You guys do good work but when a mistake is made please own up to it instead of blaming the customer. I’m not the one making the repairs. I have been going to Matrix since they opened some 13 years ago and have never had any problems with them up until now. I was really caught by surprise with the way I was treated as a customer especially by the owner’s daughter as if the damage rotors were my fault??? At the end of the day which turned out to be rather long (4-​hrs) everything worked itself out. I would like to tell the owner that I believe you are a very good man it’s just very unfortunate this situation occurred which caused me to no longer be a customer. Please note that I gave Matrix a two-​star rating not because of past experiences with them but as a result of my last visit on 07/​18/​2015.

A little over price! Went in to get my tire repair/​patch because it had a nail. I was the only customer at the time so there was no wait time for me. One of the young employee’s quickly approach me and quickly started working on my tire and quickly repair it and even check all my tires air pressure that was a plus. Overall the staff did a good job but my minor complaint is on the 18.00 dollar cost of the repair, I am use to paying 8.00 dollars for this same repair at a tire shop near my job which looks no different than this tire shop and also does a great job.

HORRIBLE. They have a family member, bless his soul, who is mentally challenged and they let him help with tires. He makes mistakes all the time. He broke my tire pressure sensor, instead of taking responsibility, they tried to tell me that it JUST BROKE on its own and wanted to charge me to fix it. I saw the guy break it. I wasn’t going to argue and make an issue over the poor man who is not mentally stable to work there. I left. Never again.

Tire pressure indicator light popped up on my car so I decided to get it checked out. Got help right away Gabriel had friendly attitude. I had a nail in my rear driver side. From point a to b they took care of the issue in less than 30 minutes. I’ve been to national tire locations and it usually takes 2 to 3 hours. It cost me less than 15 bucks to fix. They also do other services which includes shocks and struts, brakes service, wheel alignment, drum and disc turn ect. I will definitely come back here. Honest and helpful is definitely a trend here

They were not only professional, but honest. I had a nail in my tire — they removed and inspected the tire and found that it had not perforated all the way so they did not recommend a patch. They easily could have told me otherwise, but they were honest and saved me a few dollars. Great service!

Went in to get a wheel alignment! My car was driving fairly good. But the owner insisted I go ahead and get a wheel alignment along with $ 45 tires (brought 1) the owner said the arm ?! Needed to be repaired for $ 400. I told him I didn’t have the money for that right now but would it be ok to just get the wheel alignment he said yes. So I’m waiting 2 ½ hrs my car is done he test drives it comes back and tells me it’s driving out of control! Was the car doin this before? No! I responded so waited another 30 mins he works on it, test drive again. Now he is saying it’s not driving right because it needs to be repaired! Did I not ask if that would be a problem ?!. Thanks to matrix tires I got into a car accident because my car is swaying back n fourth when it drives! It wasn’t doing this before. I called him back he told me he didn’t have time and I can come waste more money or get over it. Wasted $ 95

Poor guys that actually do the hard work but the owners are a bit shady. Prices are more than anyone locally for son reason want to sell you new tires when your tires are almost new. They creep around your car like hawks looking for any possible upscale that you don’t need. Pushy tactics like this will keep me from coming back. The first time I came I wasn’t watching and all if a sudden they tell me that I have a slit inside my new 300 mile tires. Shady I said.

Great service and reasonable prices! Had a brake inspection and I was shown and explained what needed to be done. Very professional. My brakes no longer make noises and stop perfectly! I’ll be returning for their other services. It’s hard to find an honest auto repair shop, I’m not surprised to have found it at a mom and pop business! I was so pleased it motivated me so much to write my first review on Unilocal.Definitely recommend!

I went to this place to fix my flat tire, and at the end I ended up with a hole in my pocket… The owner (a lady with color eyes) charged me $ 17 for a simple patch. Ridiculous amount. I’ve gone to many places and the most I’ve ever paid was $ 8. I guess she charges by the kind of car you drive not by the equal simple service. BEWARE WITH PRICES!!!

Awsome place i went to since were i went they did get the job done… I left satisfied and will be comming back sooon for more stuff to be done! Very nice honest people overall. They know what they are doing and they get u in and het u out fast :) im one happy camper
