Over 15-​years experience as a competitive swim coach. I train/​teach both adults and children, elite athletes/​triathletes and beginners. Private coaching is the fastest way to improve swimming technique and skills. I can help you to «feel» the water, not feel out-​of-​breath, and improve your ability to swim longer, farther, and faster. I provide ability-​appropriate «swimming homework,» or training sets, at the end of each lesson.

I coached for Seattle University Masters, Bellevue Place Triathlon group, Cascade Swim Club, Swim Seattle, Central Area Aquatics, University of Washington Swimming (when they had a swim program!), Mercer Island Country Club, Klahaya Swim and Tennis Club, Newport Yacht Club, and I enjoyed 13 seasons as Head Coach for Garfield, Ballard, and Mountlake Terrace HS. I also developed a program entitled «Novice Masters.»
