This location charged me $ 800 for service she did not provide. She cancelled my appointments over the phone and rescheduled me the next couple weeks. Within those two weeks, she closed down the shop and disappeared. A few customers were dumbfound as I was to show up at an empty shop. Her voicemail was full and no replies when I emailed her several times. Scam, scam, scam!!! This woman needs to be put behind bar.

I scheduled an Online Appt. in Oct. 31^st. She had moved out of the Ultimate Salin space without informing me. I prepaid for a series of microderms and she still owes me for 3 of them. When I called the tel# it was resold to someone else.
It’s just very bad business practices. She went out of business but was still scheduling appointments.

I had a very similar experience as Sarah S. I purchased a $ 750.00 dermabrasion and peel series. After my first session, my face was bleeding, scratched up and badly burned too. It was so scary. Cortney told me the same thing, .that it was normal and to use hydrocortizone. Cortney also told me it wasn’t her fault. Well, it certainly wasnt’ my fault! I told her I wasn;‘t comfortable with doing any more treatments that I purchased. All I got was an email cancelling my future appointments… no offer of a refund! Then she told me she had insurance because I needed to go to a dermalogist to try and fix this scarring on my face. Months later I got a letter from her insurance company saying she is not covered for her professional work?! Almost a year later, I have spent almost $ 3,000.00 to fix the damage. I filed a small claims court case and Cortney did not show up, so the judge ruled in my favor. Then when no payment was received, I had to file again with the Superior court in Everett. …case # 132 084 714. I would like to just get some of my money back, but it looks like that won’t be happening. My face still has some light marks that cover up Ok with make up… but I had to live thru 9 months of treatments and products .it was hell trying to cover up all the damage and peeling everyday… and the wondering if it would ever get better. My sister cried when she first saw my face. It was a real nightmare. It would be nice to hear from Cortney and be able to get some of money that is legally mine and morally hers to pay. I would love to write a good update.

Just went back to RNR spa last week in its new location. I can honestly say it was even better than my last facial. The new space is lovely! I passed out fast due to Cortneys expert touch. I didn’t want to leave when it was my time to go. I picked up a few products from her new skincare line. My skin has been glowing since too!

I bought a 3-​pack facial deal from Groupon and tried to contact the salon to schedule for the first appointment (in the span of 10 days) via three emails (their online scheduler) and left one phone message. I never heard back. If a simple customer service such as responding to an appointment request didn’t exist, I highly doubted that I’d get much else with its other services. So I asked Groupon to refund my purchase (in the form of Groupon credits).
I do not recommend this business.

I received a great facial, however it is difficult to schedule. Cortney comes across as brusque and rude. She needs to work on her PR skills.

I had Lamprobe done today on my first visit. I was very impressed both with the environment and the service I received. I was given excellent customer service and felt I was given a very detailed treatment. I am looking forward to returning in a month for a facial. I am thrilled to have found this place!

I bought a Groupon deal for the Ultimate facial experience and was a little worried after I read some reviews here. I was even more worried after I had a little bit of difficulty in scheduling but it ended up being a pretty fantastic experience.
The reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the communication prior to the appointment. At the time I bought the Groupon the business website said appointments could be made via email. Since I work odd hours this is a life saver for me. I emailed once and got no response, which I attributed to possibly being too busy from the Groupon deal. I emailed another time a month or so later and was told she was no longer scheduling via email but could schedule through a Groupon scheduler (online). Cool. That works for me!
Cortney asked me right away about any allergies. I let her know right away that I am sensitive to fragrances and she assured me that her products are all natural and fragrance free. They smelled wonderful! Nice and light and not at all overwhelming. The whole experience was so relaxing. The massage was super nice, my skin is happy and it was great to have a little bit of me time. I expected that my skin would break out a little bit from having products I’m not used to on it but it hasn’t.
I’d definitely go back, even without the awesome Groupon!

I was a little worried after reading some of these reviews, but I had a really lovely experience. I haven’t had a facial in a few years, but the groupon deal I found was too good to pass up. The massage experience was very relaxing, and she even offered a bonus peel for a big discount and even though it was supposed to sting I found a lot of relief from her personal attention to fan and soothe my face during the treatment.
I can’t believe I paid so little for the treatment I got, and was more than happy to schedule for a follow up at the same price & tip on the full value. My experience was great, and her set-​up in the small spa space is cute. If I had budgeted for it, I may have picked up some of her home-​made products to spoil myself at home. Maybe next time.

All I can say is I have never encountered anyone in this industry that was so lacking in customer service! Drove over an hour to my appt. ended up being late not intentionally I took a wrong turn coming out of the mall touched something on the GPS and rerouted me. I did try contacting her to let her know but didn’t get an answer and didnt’ wait for the vm to pick up. Finally arrived and she was not there and then found out that the time I had was half an hour later than the time she had down. Long story short I did not have an appt. with her and if I chose to reschedule I could wait yet more than another month to make it. I have never been to a salon or a spa that does not contact you the day before to confirm times and services, most don’t want empty appt. times. I got the feeling that she was busy enough and did not have time for me or my business. Leads me to believe that perhaps my purchasing a groupon for her services may have played a part in it as well. I contacted groupon and was given a full refund for my purchase.

Perhaps the owner is a skilled practitioner but her rudeness to me while trying to secure an appointment was a warning: don’t continue.

Cortney’s business seemed to be so busy and she could never fit me in. Now I see she has a groupon special again. Hmmm.

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! This was my first facial, so I didn’t know what to expect. Cortney made me feel welcomed and it was easy to relax in her beautiful home. The ultimate experience facial, which I purchased with a groupon, was heavenly. I had never felt so pampered! She used her own all natural products that smelled amazing and made my skin look gorgeous. I have been using her face wash and moisturizer for 2 weeks now and my skin is still glowing. I’m a college student and her $ 30 express facial allows me to treat myself while staying within budget. She also helps the community! I am planning a silent auction to raise funds for homeless youth in Seattle and she was generous enough to donate a spa package. I have recommended her to my friends and I will definitely be a long-​term customer.

I drove from Bothell hit some light traffic but did not think it was a big deal the website says for my appt. ” If you are more than 15 minutes late to your appointment you may have to reschedule.” I drive a truck and it says you cannot park in the driveway, there is no parking so I had to park at the street entrance. which I am unsure if you can even legally park there. I already had printed out my client detail sheet so that would not have taken up any time. I rang the doorbell and first thing the owner told me was we needed to reschedule bc I was more than 15 mins late. She didn’t even open the door all way, but spoke to me with her head peeped through the screen door. I didn’t put up an argument except for the fact that I knew I was barely 10 mins late (prob 3 of those mins due to parking), and pointed out that her website said only if I was more than 15 she «may» have to reschedule. I told the owner that I would be willing to cut the appt. short but she was unwilling to do that, bc she said she had an obligation to Groupon for fulfilling their contract, meaning her groupon had to be exactly an hour and a half. just unbelievably bad customer service. it was supposed to be an hour and a half appt. so it wasn’t like she had no time to complete the service. I started to walk away and she told me to «call groupon and get my money back bc she doesn’t want my business» to which my only words were «thank you». By the time I got to my car, which would have been prob about 2 mins of conversation with the owner and walking back to the car my cell phone clock read «11:42» which would have been still less than 15 mins late. I called my husband crying bc he thought he got me a great little groupon gift. I am in shock with the way I was treated and cannot imagine ever having a relaxing experience with someone who would ever treat a person this way.

I had enjoyed a very relaxing facial couple weeks ago. Like other reviewer said, Courtney has magic hands and fingers, the way she massage my face make me feel very comfortable. I’ve tried other facial experience before but none as good as hers. Price is great (I took advantage of the promotion price). The deck in her house is beautiful too, she said it is open for like a spa party. Almost forgot to say this spa is locate in a detaching unit in her house, it is located in a dead end, not hard to find and parking is not a problem.
