I love this place. I had an amazing body scrub and moisturizing. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only downside is paying for little things such as mints or bottled water. Otherwise it was a great experience. The restaurant had delicious healthy food. I will definately come back.

First time to try their scrub. I felt like I was at a Korean bath house. I guess I can share that I do watch my «K» soaps – big fan matter of fact and bath house is huge there or part of their lifestyle. Anyway…
Don’t get me wrong, my scrub is hands down rejuvenating and cleansing. If ZEN is what you’re looking for for this particular treatment, IT IS NOT. It’s an overstatement.
Here, you are not alone and I meant there are other people next to you-​NAKED. There are many tables set up next to each other the same time I’m getting my body scrub – FULL MONTY!
I was uncomfortable at first as I am accustomed being somehow covered while getting a spa treatment and alone with a masseuse – no, not here. However, I guess getting next to skin moves more toxin out of the body and the masseuse doesn’t have to fuss with covers. Here, you flip 360 degrees and I just had to roll with it and, lose some dignity or shyness if any applies. No judgment just full Bliss (at least pretend) –If I may. I was game though…
I got over it quickly and I appreciated the scrub down I asked for and then some. Yup!
I came out shining like a «Goddess»!
Price is right, I felt rejuvenated and detoxified. This body scrub is a must! Excellent!
So much to take in though if you’re a first timer here. They have so many rooms: meditation room, reading room, pool house, sauna-​so much to do and to choose from even without a spa treatment as long as I’m a member.
On a good note, It’s super clean and staff is helpful.
Also, there is a small restaurant which, I heard serve very good Korean food. I’ll have to try in the near future.
Will I visit it again? Yes, of course! The scrub is a unforgettable experience. I want to get scrubbed down like that again… Oh yeah…

I don’t go to spas, but I go to this one! The scrub and the Korean Café is where it’s at. Nobody cares about your naked body. We are all beautiful. Relax!

Hands down the best body scrub I’ve ever had! Be prepared to be naked, there’s no getting around it. It takes a few minutes to get used to but you’ll get over it real quick. The rooms are amazing! This is definitely my go to spot during the cold weather! It helps you escape reality, eat yummy Korean food and drink yummy tea! Enjoy!

I took my mom here as a Christmas present for a day of relaxation. I’ve been to a spa once, and so has my mom, so we are still relatively new to the whole spa experience. I decided to treat her to a body scrub and massage.
When we got there, we were reminded of her appointment times: noon for the body scrub and 1 pm for the massage, just as I had scheduled weeks before. We were also reminded to have her soak in the hot tubs at least for 30 minutes prior to the body scrub. So at 11:10 we went to the hot tubs early to give her a good soak in preparation for her scrub. And good thing we did! We were only there for 5 minutes before her number was called! The masseuse curtly explained that my mom’s massage had been moved to 12 o’ clock and so she had to get her body scrub right then and there! We were surprised and went along with it, even though we explained she hadn’t been soaking for 30 minutes.
While my mom did have very soft skin after the scrub, she did describe the experience as «being attacked with sandpaper». I have never gotten a body scrub myself, but I had a friend who got a body scrub at Olympus who highly recommended it to me and she did not use «sandpaper» to describe the experience. Clearly, the 30 minute soak is important to make the body scrub an enjoyable experience.
Overall, we enjoyed the spa and had wonderful quality time together. I’m just frustrated that Olympus messed up the scheduling because the body scrub and massage package wasn’t cheap and I did not pay for my mom to get scrubbed like sandpaper.

I have only visited Olympus spa once and will never return. Let me start by saying that not everything was terrible. Melissa, the esthetician who performed my facial was fantastic but even her services were not enough to outweigh the horrible staff. I typically go to a different spa in Woodinville but decided to give Olympus a try since my mom was coming to town and I wanted to spoil her for her birthday. I researched the spa’s website before making an appointment for us and had decided since I suffer from a medical condition which keeps me from using steam rooms, we would simply get the facial and not enter the pool/​steam areas. I also made sure to read through the FAQ where I learned that I would not need to bring anything since the spa provided robes, caps, towels, soap, conditioner and shampoo. This was perfect because we were going to dinner afterwards and did not want greasy post-​facial hair at the restaurant. I requested our appointments through their online tool which told me that in groups of 3 or more, they require a credit card to reserve the appointment and that there was a 24 hour cancellation fee. The next day I received a voicemail asking me to call them to make the appointment over the phone with a credit card (even though there were only 2 of us) to secure our reservation, which I did. I was then told that we were all set and would need to arrive 30 minutes prior to our service to give us plenty of time to relax before our facials.
On the day of our services, we arrive 30 minutes in advance (as recommended by the front desk staff and their webpage) and take a seat in the lobby as both of the front desk girls are on the phone. When one of the girls hangs up, my mom and I approach the front desk where we are told to check in on the Ipad in front of her. As it turns out, you cannot enter the spa UNLESS you have provided your full name, address, email address, and phone number. Both my mother and I were forced to provide this information against our will (even though I made the appointments and my mother lived out of state) since they have a strict 24 hour cancellation fee. After providing them with our information, I paid for our services and asked where the locker room was. We were told that since we were only getting facials and not visiting the pool/​steam rooms that we would not be provided with any of the spa amenities such as robe, towels, shower access, caps, shampoo, soap… all of the things that were advertised as included. We were also told that we would not be able to use a locker (even though their website clearly states on the facial page that for $ 5 more we could). We were then asked to remove our shoes, leave them at the front and attend a tour. The front desk staff walked us around the facility showing us everything we could purchase for extra money such as pool access, tea, water, food, etc. During the tour, we were showed the pedicure room where the salon boasts about their sanitation standards. We were provided with a hand out that explained that getting pedicures in other salons can expose you to other’s bodily fluids which can transmit flesh eating parasites. At the end of the 5 minute tour we were told that typically we should only arrive 15 minutes prior to our services so we should sit in the relaxation room and wait for our services. When I let the staff know that I was told we needed to arrive 30 minutes in advance there was no sympathy and in fact they acted as if I was lying. At this point, I already was feeling nickel and dimed and just wanted to use the ladies room and wait for my facial. I asked the staff where bathroom was and was told that I must use the ladies room in the pool area and that it’s barefoot only. When I asked if there was anything I could wear on my feet, booties, slippers or anything of the like, I was told that like the rest of the facility, the bathrooms are barefoot only but not to worry since they are very diligent about keeping the facility clean and sanitary. This is VERY confusing to me since they had pushed the importance of not sharing bodily fluids with others. My mother and I ended up putting our shoes back on and leaving the facility to use the restroom next door before returning to the spa.
Once back in the spa, we were then escorted to the relaxation room to wait for our services. Both my mother and I felt completely singled out as all of the ladies surrounding us were in robes and caps relaxing and we are in fancy attire which was meant to be worn to dinner after the fact.
By the time I made it into my facial, I had already cried through half of it. I tried to explain my disappointment to the manager on staff that day but she seemed very uninterested in accommodating us.
All in all, I paid $ 95/​facial to get a rash on both feet from their «sanitary conditions» and terrible service.

Wonderful place to relax and you can even sleep! (I fell asleep and a wonderful Motherly woman covered me in a blanket). Scrub is worth the money and so was the facial but the massage was average which is to be expected — but I am picky as I’ve had a lot of incredible massages :-) Staff are incredibly friendly and hands off — they don’t bother you. Bring a book and a pencil if you want to journal, spend your day healing and rejuvenating. And don’t worry about the nakedness — it is a wonderful experience!

Today was my first time visiting this spa after hearing about it for years. My friend and I had birthdays last week and decided to treat ourselves to a spa day. We arrived at 10am, and I was told that the online booking I did THREE WEEKS AGO meant nothing, because they did not call me to confirm it, so I had no services booked. I thought I had booked a pedicure, a facial and a body scrub. The woman at the front desk said that there were openings for an express facial at 10:45, and two other services at 12:30 and 1:30. I said I would take them all, and went in to change. I waited until after 11:00 for someone to come and get me for my 10:45 facial; finally went to the front and asked about it and surprise, they had forgotten to tell the esthetician about the appointment. I went back at 12:30 and waited again for that appointment, nobody showed up to take me in, and back I went to the front desk. This time, the SAME IDIOT WOMAN told me that I had said I did not want the services at 12:30 or 1:30. Finally, I went to the restaurant to get a bite to eat. There was a 20 minute wait, which is fine. I came back in 20 minutes and they tried to tell me that I had asked for a table for two, and then tried to seat me at a table with two other people instead of giving me the open table that was right in front of me. No tips for anyone. Never going back. I’m sure the services are wonderful, if you can manage to get them, but the rest of that staff can go straight to hell.

So… I like this spa. I like their services. I love the relaxation rooms with sand for floors and sea-​salty walls and lovely aroma therapy. I had the best massage ever at this place, can’t remember her name – she was fabulous though!
However, two years in a row, I’ve had terrible experiences booking appointments and getting my mom in for her birthday. She really likes this spa, but I think after this time, we’re done.
Last year I contacted them and asked if I could send my mom and my grandmother (on my dime) for a day at the spa, including spa services (massage, etc.). I made sure via email and over the phone that it was clear that I wasn’t going to be there as I would be running around all day planning my mom’s 50^th birthday party that night. I booked the appts and we worked out payment arrangements – I don’t recall if I was going to pay over the phone after the services to make sure a good tip was included or what, but I do recall feeling like they understood what I needed and we were taken care of.
Well, come the big day, my mom showed up alone – my grandmother ended up not being able to go – and she wasn’t in their appointment book. Not only that, she didn’t bring her bank card and had no cash and they literally wouldn’t let her in the door. She explained the situation to them and they made her wait in the lobby, embarrassed and so far having a terrible birthday, for a half an hour while she tried to reach me by phone. (She lives in Renton, btw, and they’re in Lynnwood, so she couldn’t just go home.)
Here I am thinking I’ve set her up for this great day and I’m literally running around town trying to make sure everything comes together for this epic party I’m planning and I’m not paying attention to my phone at 10 AM as I run in and out of stores finishing last-​minute shopping. I finally look at my phone after a while and I’ve missed 10 calls from my mom. When I talked to her she was on the verge of tears. They had finally let her in the spa, just barely, but the whole thing was a mess. I talked to the front desk and worked it out, but by then, my mom had already had a traumatic start to what was supposed to be a great birthday. There was little sympathy from the staff and no offer to compensate us in any way.
For some reason, maybe because there really is no other spa like this place that’s just so enjoyable (once you get in the door!), we decided to try again this year. We chalked last year up to a miscommunication and their front-​desk staff being not that awesome.
Well, on Tuesday, I used their online system to request a booking for this weekend for myself and my mom. I knew I was cutting it close trying to get in the following Sat, but hoped there were appointments still available, at least for my mom. I got an email that said they got my request and if I don’t hear anything within two days to call them. No word by Thurs – and I was getting nervous with no back-​up plan – I called and left a message asking for someone to please call me back at their earliest convenience as I had been trying to book since Tues.
No call back. Then last night MY MOM gets a message from them that the appt. she requested wasn’t available and she should call them if she wants to try for another slot. It’s after hours, and by now, it’s FRIDAY! I left them another message on my way to work this morning and I just missed a call a few minutes ago and the message said: sorry, the appointment you requested isn’t available, please call back to try to schedule another time. I’m so done with these people. This has been really frustrating and makes me sad, because I do like the spa. I’m over it though.

How in the hell have I never reviewed the Olympus? How? I’ve been going since 2007 and I’ve never reviewed it.
Something is wrong with me.
But anyway…
I love this place. It costs a «whopping» $ 38 for entry and you have access to the steam room, the sauna, the dry rooms, the chill spaces, the pools — all of which you can stay as long as you freaking like. Please don’t tell me that $ 38 is too expensive, b/​c bitches, please… there are other spas you pay a bajillion dollars to go to and aren’t nearly as cool as this place.
There’s also a fabulous Korean café attached to the spa itself — and you can waltz in with your robe and cap, get a table, and enjoy some delicious Korean eats. Why there isn’t a Korean café of this caliber in Seattle is beyond me.
I will continue to come here and treat myself to some down time in the steam room with muh ladies. Don’t forget your water bottle!

So, I have been to a few spas in my life. Primarily, I’ve been a patron of Hothouse and Ladywell’s in Seattle. I’ve seen the naked ladies and experienced many aromatherapy steam rooms. Olympus Spa, however, was a whole new ballgame.
The first thing I noticed about the place is that it was super clean. Like, immaculate. It was also MASSIVE! The locker room had a nice big vanity area with provided hair dryers and a good mirror, which I would fully take advantage of if I wanted to look good when I leave the spa. (I always leave the spa makeupless with soaking wet hair, while wearing sweatpants, just because.)
On one side of the locker room is the entrance to the heated rooms, restaurant and lounge/​reading rooms, and on the other side is the entrance to the bath area with showers, pools and a wet and dry sauna. The pools have a nice vibe to them with surrounding candles. There is an AWESOME little trough in front of the pools with hot mugwort-​infused water in it, with provided bowls, that you can pour all over yourself after a soak. You feel like a naked goddess standing there, with your cap on, pouring hot water all over yourself! (Okay, well I did.)
I liked the heated rooms, which was something I hadn’t been to before. For those who don’t know, there are a variety of rooms, heated from 60°-170°F with different themes. The «sand» room, for example, has a big futon filled with sand on the floor, is heated to 150°F, and a soundtrack of waves. It’s very relaxing to lay there. I also liked the charcoal and mud and jade rooms. The cabin room was a REALLY nice touch! I wandered into the cabin room after a long, relaxing sauna session, found the journal and just poured all of my thoughts of the moment into it. I also marveled at the maps on the wall, thinking about my travels. It was a great spot to reflect and «take it all in».
At other spas I’ve been to, I have often had the presence of other guests take away from my experience. This happens because there were simply too many people in the small space or because other guests carried on loud conversations. But at Olympus Spa, I barely even noticed the other guests. The facility is so large that if someone got too close for comfort, there was always another really great room or pool I could go into.
Overall, HIGHLY recommend! This was the best experience, and for just $ 38! I will be back!
Only downside is that it’s all the way up in Lynnwood (for us Seattleites).

The Naked Spa is also the Relax, Recharge, and Rejeuvenate Spa! Came this past Friday evening (Spa open until midnight on Fri & Sat eve, but beware… esthetician services only offered until 7pm and the delicious attached Korean restaurant closes at 9pm) w/​Ms. Italiana and Ms. Espagna for a long overdue catch-​up and detox! And we spaaaaaaahhhhhhh’ed it out, big time! It costs $ 38 for single entry, though I plan to purchase a bulk set (offered in sets of 10, bringing the single entry price down to $ 28. They are sharable, giftable, and non-​expirable. The bulk sets will be offered after Thanksgiving and through the holidays.) For your entry fee, you get unlimited access until closing time to jacuzzi pools of varying temps, hot or cold rooms of various temps (each based on a defferent healing property), steam room, dry sauna, mugwort & regular showers (w/​product!), a relaxing lounge-​area, and access to the miracle workers who pretty much took off the past 6 years of dead skin from my body during the Premium Body Scrub (extra charge). This is a full-​service spa, and besides their famous Korean scrubs, they offer body moisturizing, facials, hair treatments, wraps, massages, peels, waxing, mani/​pedis, and a tea café for unlimited tea throughout your visit. If I die and go here… well I think that would pretty much be my idea of heaven!
Their logistical system is genius, as you get a key with a number upon arrival (along with a robe, hair cap, and small + large towels). That same number is used for your locker or cubby throughout, from removing/​storing your shoes in the interior vestibule, to the locker room, to removing/​storing your robe in the pool area.
We planned to make a night of it, and showed up around 4:30p… we had a reservation for scrubs at 6:30p… and made use of our time in-​between with the hot rooms (a typical drizzly/​gray Seattle day outside made the heat extra-​special!) before heading to the hot tub for our requisite 30-​min pre-​scrub soak. Post-​scrub was spent showering, dining, lounging, and catching up on our magazine reading (of which Olympus has a wide ranging supply).
I’ve been to both the Tacoma and Lynnwood locations in the past, but can’t believe that it’s been over 6 years since my last visit! A mistake I plan to rectify immediately, now that my little one is a little older :) The Tacoma spa was the original and as I remember, an older building without all the modern, fresh amenities of the Lynnwood location. It may have gotten an update, though… since my last visit was in the 2008 timeframe!
Oh, and that naked thing… really no biggie, as the women who come are a wide spectrum of shapes, sizes, colors, and ages. I was not in the least self-​conscious about my c-​section scar nor very taken aback with the number of impressive tattoos and piercings. This is a place to celebrate being a women… in all our imperfections. It’s actually pretty liberating!

I’ve been here several times, to both locations. They both have their perks. I prefer the staff and friendlier, more intimate atmosphere in Tacoma but Lynnwood is newer and has nicer facilities (only marginally). They are both great experiences.
Yes, you are naked. I have brought multiple loved ones here that I almost had to club over the head and throw in a burlap bag to get them in there because of the nudity, but not one of them had any regrets once there. You really don’t even care, notice or feel like anyone else does. This place is a must for any woman in my opinion. I suggest the korean scrub, you wont be disappointed. (not the superior one, just the regular) Do not shave same day though, do it day before! Enjoy being treated like the queen you are.

Come to Olympus to feel like the goddess you are!
Just $ 38 will get you all day access to the pools (4 different temp jacuzzis, steam room — my favorite!, and sauna with showers. You also get access to the energy rooms. These are rooms that you lay in to relax and reap the benefits of things like charcoal, salt, mud and jade, etc. each room has an explanation of benefits and what the room contains.
I also love lunch at the little restaurant — #18 dumpling soup is to die for!

It’s a naked spa. N-​A-​K-​E-​D. Which totally freaked me out at first. But it’s a sterile environment which I was pleasantly surprised by. The caps and gowns everyone wears make you «all the same» and it’s a breath of fresh air.
You really need to plan to spend the day even if you only book a massage for an hour.
There are rooms and pools and so much to just do to relax there.
Things to note:
if you’re not used to it, it will be super weird for only 15 min.
You should bring your own water bottle or pay $ 12.50 for water bottles there. Although theirs are reusable and flavored with fruit and veges it’s total highway robbery.
Tips are CASH only. So bring cash.
I wasn’t pushed to buy any products from the facilities which surprised me.
The sign in «kiosks» are a little crappy because you feel like a number and not a person.
Make sure to ask for a tour of the facility so you can know all that you can do.

I used to love this spa. It was relaxing and convenient to those in the Seattle area. But it has gotten way out of hand. There are way too many customers talking in all areas of the spa, making it loud and unrelaxing.
And, they have now banned ALL electronic devices but don’t tell you this when you make an appointment – don’t get me wrong I totally understand banning phones and devices with a camera but they should be able to okay simple e-​readers OR at least tell you when you are scheduling the appt on the phone NOT to bring one and bring a normal book instead. When I brought this to the attention of the front desk they informed me they didn’t have time to tell customers about this policy on the phone (it should take 10 seconds maximum to say these 2 short sentences).
Very unsympathetic to those with poor eyesight who can’t see tiny print without glasses.
So disappointed; my love affair with this spa is truly over.

This was an interesting experience. My daughter brought me here and I’d like to go back. While I didn’t partake in any of the massages I spent most of my time going from one room to the next. This is a women only spa. If you don’t feel comfortable walking around nude then don’t. You are supplied a robe to wear. I would suggest trying out the tea room as a break from whatever you decide to do here. They have a nice selection of tea and it just makes for a nice break. It’s an additional cost of $ 5. The day pass costs $ 38 and if you get a spa package the pass is included in that price. You need to book appointments ahead of time. They offer 50% off a day pass on your birthday.

I’ve been meaning to go to Olympus Spa for body scrub and I finally went there on my birthday. Half off entrance fee on birthday is nice. I’ve used all the amenities and my favorites are sand room, mug-​wort steam room, and herbal sauna. The lounge room is nice to just sit & relax when you want a break from hot rooms and just chill.
Body scrub was awesome. My lady was friendly, professional, and scrubbed everywhere on my body. Hot Pot Bibimbap for lunch was very tasty too.
This place is a heaven for women who is not afraid to be naked in front of other ladies. Some are not comfortable doing so and that’s okay. They can still enjoy everything else but the soaking tub. The birth-​suite policy only applies to soaking tub area and we wear robes in heated room, lounge area, and of course, dining area.
I went there alone and I spent almost 4 hours there by myself. I will definitely go back there during the weekday. (I hear weekends are busy days at the spa.)

Nineteen dollars on your birthday? I’m definitely in! This location is larger and nicer than the Tacoma one. It has 4 different pools to sit in. My two favorite pools are the 100 something degrees pool and then jumping into the 60 degrees pool. We also have a dry sauna a steam sauna. There’s also various rooms to sit in. On top of that they have a restaurant connected to it that serves pretty good tofu soup. If money is an issue they do sell water bottles with chopped up organic fruits inside. My friend got the strawberry mint one for $ 15.
I really like the room and the middle with a nice comfy sofa that has the various aromatic sticks to smell and massagers for your neck and your feet. I also love their body scrub! It leaves me so clean!

$ 38 for entry to the spa? That’s a little too high.
In Irvine, CA it’s $ 25. Irvine! Mecca for Asians with money to burn! And a 35 min scrub is $ 35, not $ 69 for a 40 minutes scrub here. Unless for some reason this place costs a whole lot more to maintain, they’re almost stealing money from its customers. I enjoy some pampering and will pay good money if it’s worth it but for an entry fee that doesn’t require someone to personally help me, this is steep.
At least include entry fee into a massage or scrub service like other comparable venues.

Came here for my birthday and treated myself to the Paradise Spa Package. It is more like 3.5 but I rounded up. Here is a breakdown of my experience:
Spa Tour– appreciated getting a quick overview
Soaking in the «warm/​hotter» tub for at least 30 minutes before the Body Scrub– I ended up doing 45 minutes and I felt like I should have stuck with just doing 30 (I was over it by 20 minutes)
Body Scrub– highlight for me– the woman who did this was really good and I recommend this
Coal Room for at least 15 minutes before the Body Wrap– relaxing
Body Wrap– by 35 minutes (of ⁴⁰⁄₄₅ minutes) I was over it and wanted out– you are wrapped up like a mummy and can’t really move. I appreciated being given ginger tea to help me along this process
Body Massage– it was ok, I am use to reflexology/​harder type massages so while nice I wanted one that went a little more deeper
I headed to their cafeteria but it was a 40 minutes wait which I wasn’t about to do (came in at 9 am and it was 12:50 pm when they were done with me– didn’t bring any kind of snack so I was hungry) so I quickly went into the other relaxation rooms for the purpose of just checking them out and then left the facility
I would recommend booking one or two services and then enjoying the rest of their amenities (instead of three like I did). I would go back for the Body Scrub and would want to try a facial (probably once or twice a year or every other year)

My wife surprised me with a body scrub as an early Christmas gift on Wednesday. This was my first time visiting this place. What fun!
Free parking can be found in the parking lot. American Express is an accepted form of payment.
An entry pass of $ 38 is required to enter the spa. The entry pass allows use of all the spa facilities such as herbal hydrotherapy pools, earth energy rooms and the steam room.
For an additional $ 69 my wife purchased me the Korean Body Scrub: Korean Body Scrub has been a tradition for thousands of years to exfoliate dead skin cells by using soap and scrub mitts. It cleanses and smooths the skin, improves blood circulation, and refreshes the mind.
Upon entering, I was given a bracelet with a numbered key attached to it. All storage cubicles and lockers are assigned numbers. I was given a towel, robe and a shower cap. Shoes and socks are removed at the front.
The robe and shower cap are to be worn everywhere except the pool area. Once in the pool area, the only item that was worn was my pink shower cap and my ink. Nude as can be. Clothing is not optional. I was asked to soak in the pools for about 30 minutes before my scheduled appointment of 6:30.
The staff promptly called me by my assigned number right on time. I love establishments that respect appointment times. My vigorous and thorough scrub lasted 45 glorious minutes. I swear my moles and stretch marks were scrubbed off. What a wonderful cleansing experience.
Be sure to bring some cash so that you can tip your professional for a job well done upon exiting.
