H&R Block

The worst experience ever I was supposed to see the guy named Wong he never wanted to see us and felt discriminated. They make u wait for a long time even u have a appointment and wanted to do some sketchy thing trying to redo my taxes again. I took papers the first days and she told me that I didn’t need them. The next couple of days I went again because they couldn’t do my taxes so here I go again then I take the same papers again that she had told me i didn’t need, now she needs this that they are really important… Worst experience ever. They don’t know what there doing.

Did my taxes with HR Block for the first time this year. The people that work there do not know what they are doing there. I had a horrible experience as well as my fiancé. He had to go back 3 plus times just because the lady who was helping didn’t know how to fix his taxes. Also, when I got mine done there, I had an out of state tax that I had to pay for and she even showed me the website I needed to go to (IRS website) and how I can pay for that out of state taxes. I paid for it in April and now here comes July, I get a notice that I never paid for the out of state taxes. I called the other state to say I already paid them but they said that I wasn’t given the correct information from HR Block and now I am stuck paying this bill again twice with a penalty! HR block employees need to be retrained because this is BS that I am having to go through this. I knew I should have done my taxes through Turbo Tax, I never had an issue with them. I am very upset and now I have to fight with the IRS to get my money back so I can pay the correct entity which is the Franchise Tax Board. It takes hours to get a hold of an IRS Representative as well as with a Franchise Tax Board Representative. Never ever ever going to HR Block again!!!

Hidden fees, inexperienced employees, unprofessional supervisors, and I will not be returning to H&R block again. Not recommended, do your taxes online or pay a friend to do them.
