Full disclosure upfront: I was a patient here a few months ago, but did not write a review because a friend of mine worked as a hygienist in the office and, as you’ll see, my experience was awful, and I didn’t want Dr. Corbett to blame her. She is no longer there so I am no posting a review of my experience.
I went to Dr. Corbett for a regular checkup. The office had a weird vibe. Dr. Corbett was the only man working there and seemed to have a very dominating management style. While all of the women were very nice, I could tell that Dr. Corbett looked down on them and didn’t trust them. He asked me a lot of questions that the hygienist had put on my chart, and questioned much of what was written. Dr. Corbett found a few cavities and had me come in for two more appointments to fill them.
Both times I came back I felt uncomfortable with how Dr. Corbett treated his staff. But since he was familiar with my case, I decided to look past it. The first filling went fine from a dentistry perspective, not too much pain. I don’t want to beat a dead horse here, but it was uncomfortable being in the room with him and the female hygienist (for the record, this was not the friend of mine that worked there) as he treated her poorly and obviously did not respect her judgment.
The second filling left me in quite a bit of pain. I thought it would go away, but after 2 or 3 weeks I still couldn’t chew on the right side of my mouth (where the cavities were filled) and the teeth are still very sensitive now. I probably should have called the office to get the pain resolved, but I couldn’t bring myself to go back there.
Needless to say, I’ll be finding a new dentist.
