Worse experience ever. Would not recommend to any females or elderly people at all. You will surely be overcharged and taken advantage of. Given estimate for work totaling over 500 dollars, (fortunately did not have money at that exact time) when was discussing estimate with neighbors they thought that was outrageous, so very next day brought car to 2 other garages and received written estimates for SAME exact work at the highest being 180 total (including labor)

Scott and Louis are one of the few last honest mechanics (almost extinct). Bought a used car and they gave me such a thorough inspection that I got a big fat «R!» This forced the dealer to make the necessary repairs, for which I am thankful. I would definitely recommend them. I might even drive all the way from Boston for regular check-​ups. They are worth the hike indeed.

I’ve used WLAS in the past for my inspection sticker only & have never encountered a problem. However, this year, my fiancé took my car somewhere else to have it inspected and it failed due to an O2 sensor issue. WLAS was one of the listed shops that could make the repairs and I called them to see about making a Saturday appointment. I was told it wasn’t necessary, that I just needed to get there right when they open @ 8:00 am.
I called them again at the beginning of last week to confirm this was still true and the guy who answered the call said yes, just come @ 8:00. I called Friday just to make sure everything was on the up and up and I was told, first, that they don’t do that kind of work. When I pushed back to tell him that I had already called a few times to make sure my car could be services, then he said that his brother does that work, not him.
I don’t care who does the work and when. What I care about is that due to their very poor communication, I lost 2 additional days to repair my car.
I will not be visiting WLAS for any of my auto needs again.

These guys are the best. They treat you like family. They always give you the best price they can afford to give you. My father brought his cars here, I bring my cars here, I have been going to West Lynn Auto for going on forty years. I would not go anywhere else

Got an inspection here on a well maintained car. A very small item was out on the car so he failed it. Ok, no problem I thought I will get the item fixed for some pocket change. However, I needed to get that inspection sticker that day so I asked him how much if he did it; his reply was 10x as much and it literally took him all of 2 minutes to fix the problem. Intentional rip off. Stay away from this place.

A good friend recommended West Lynn Auto to us about 7 years ago. It feels like coming home every time I bring one of our cars in. I trust these guys and they always have been fair and reasonable. This is the best grage I have ever used.

Totally disagree. My mother was having trouble with thermostat getting stuck in her car causing car to run a little hot but then one day while I was out of town. She was driving and the car overheated. She had it towed to this place without me knowing about it. They not only replaced the thermostat they said she needed a water pump on top of it. 580.00 later. Unless u know about cars stay away from this place!

I have been bringing my «94» dodge ram to West Lynn Auto for the last 8 years. These guys are honest and straight out. They have always been very fair with me with their prices. They have stood by me in several emergencies, which I am very thankful for. No matter who you deal with; Harry, Scott, Louie, Al, or Willie you can put your trust in anyone of them!
