Split2nd Entertainment has a multi-​level, 1600 sq. ft. Recording Studio with a team of talented music producers and songwriters dedicated to song composition & artist development. We also offer professional Voice-​over Recording, Audio-​book narrating, and music placement for TV & Film. From Electronic Dance Music to R&B, Hip-​Hop & Reggae, we have a knowledge and passion for all genres. We specialize in accomplishing the goals of what our clients want to achieve. History

Established in 1998.

Split2nd Entertainment was founded by Producer Mike Cip in 1998. From what came from a childhood dream soon quickly arose to becoming a staple in the Boston music scene. Split2nd Entertainment released its first compilation CD in 2002, which featured several artists and production from Cip, which gained national recognition and sky rocketed on many music charts. DJ Master Millions soon joined forces and from there they went on to produce the reggae artist Mighty Mystic, catapulting him to nationwide success. Split2nd also has major label production credits with recording artists Pitbull, Shaggy, Elephant Man, Beenie Man, and T.O.K. Split2nd also has credits on the hit TV Shows «HBO’s Entourage», «FOX’s K-​ville», «ABC’s The Forgotten», «VH1 Behind The Music– Pitbull», and «CBS’s NCI: New York». Split2nd has now opened their North Shore Recording Facility and offices in Lynn, MA. across from the beach with the Boston Skyline in the background, excited for the next project’s to work on!

To create the perfect musical cocktail you fuse a little bit of OCD, with a hint of style, a splash of insane humor mixed with an excessive amount of high voltage musical production and the product is Boston, MA based music producer Mike Cip a/​k/​a «Cip.» Cip’s flair for melodic compositions, attention to intricate details, and reputation as a prankster, Cip instantly morphed into one of the local scene’s most notorious young producers. Although earning a name as a highly-​respected Reggae hit maker, Cip began gaining momentum as asought after Pop, R&B and Hip-​Hop producer. Cip has gone on to produce the track «Blood is Thicker than Water» on superstar Pitbull’s album «El Mariel» and on the Fox’s TV show «K-​Ville.» Continuing his trend of stylish and creative music, the Cip-​produced cut «The Lonely Road,» with Santilli, featured on HBO’s «Entourage.» Cip loves to bring nothing less than creative excellence and easy-​going fun to the studio.
