Leahy Landscaping, Inc. provides professional landscape maintenance, irrigation, construction and design services to commercial and residential customers throughout the Greater Boston area. Our specialized divisions such as ornamental tree and shrub care, a 6 step organic lawn care and landscape design offer unique and personalized services to our clients.

Our recycling site, North Shore Compost provides a COST-​SAVING and CONVENIENT disposal alternative for companies such as: Landscapers, Site Contractors, Masonry Contractors and General Contractors producing organic waste. We also sell products such as loam, mulch, and stone. We are able to «go green» by reusing our own recycled materials as well as by using cisterns which reclaim rainwater for irrigation. We also use E.T. Managers which act as a sort of private weather station for homeowners or commercial clients.

History

Established in 1984.

Leahy Landscaping, Inc. was established in 1984. Over the years we have added many educated professionals to our team such as Massachusetts licensed Arborists, landscape architects and designers to name a few.

Matthew Leahy also established North Shore Compost on 149 Swampscott Road in Salem, MA. This facility’s compost production provides a COST-​SAVING and CONVENIENT disposal alternative for companies such as: Landscapers, Site Contractors, Masonry Contractors and General Contractors producing organic waste. We also sell products such as loam, mulch, and stone.

Meet the Business Owner

Matthew L.

Business Owner

Matthew Leahy started Leahy Landscaping, Inc. when he was just 20 years old with one truck, one trailer and one lawn mower. The company now has seven divisions, over 80 employees and over 55 trucks.

He received a Certificate from Endicott College in Landscape Design. He is now a Certified Landscape Designer and a member of the Massachusetts Association of Landscape Professionals.
