This place is clean, tasty and has fair prices. The owner and his wife are super sweet and have made us feel at home everytime we’ve gone. They are actually a Greek /Turkish couple and the food shows great examples of both cultures. I love going here, it’s like stopping at a friends house for lunch.

This place seems to have changed ownership or management. It used to be really excellent when they first opened. For $ 8 you got a Sheppard’s salad or lentil soup, an appetizer, and an entrée for lunch. Now it seems that every time I go there their lunch special is completely different. However, the food is still good.

Since this place has been under new management the food has suffered. Nothing special. There are better places in town for Turkish grill.
I’m surprised to read the previous review of how much they loved this place. I ordered a Falafal and shepards salad and was pretty disappointed. The actual falafal balls themselves were pretty tasty, but no pita, not much lettuce or veggies with it either. Please do not even let me get into the awful tzatziki– wanna be sauce they served with it! Bleh! I figured I’d give them another chance with the shepards salad, and there was way too much parsley in it and no feta cheese… NOFETACHEESE!!! Across the street there is a much better Turkish restaurant with better prices. This place is cute, the service was friendly, but I was not impressed having gone to a few Turkish places that have been way better. Plus the only and first reviewer to this place has ironically only reviewed this place and that’s it. Hmmm… suscpicious, I think so.

As a Turkish chick, I gotta say that this restaurant has the most authentic Turkish food I have ever eaten outside of the country. Haydari – Amazing. Acili Ezme – delicious. Lentil Soup– phenomenal. Good meat too. Actually Greatttt meat. If you wanna get a taste of some Turkish food, you have got to pay this place a visit!
