Ridge Exxon

Today is one of my busiest days at work but I think it’ll will be very ungrateful of me if I didn’t do this review NOW.
I have an old 1997 Honda Accord which drives great but had the check engine light on and obviously when the inspection was due, it failed. Since I’m regular at Pep Boys, I took it to them but they couldn’t fix it. Then I researched and found that Mike’s auto repair had good reviews so I decided to give it a try. He is a perfect gentleman, opens the garage at 8 am sharp or maybe earlier and is always welcoming. He cleared the engine light issue in a couple of hours and informed that we need to finish a drive cycle before he does the inspection.
He didnt charge us and said that he would do it when we come back for inspection. I mean, who does that? Unless you are Mike and you’re super confident of your work.
Anyways, long story short, no matter how much we drove, we couldnt complete the drive cycle becoz one of his assistants would check and let Mike know that it’s still not ready for inspection. Mike suggested that he needs to change a part that’s failing the car in completing the drive cycle and that would cost us $ 700 approx. My car is not worth more than $ 2500 so imagine the nightmare I had, to spend $ 700. After discussing with my husband, we decided to go ahead and informed Mike to fix it as cheaply as he can. He called in just an hour and said that we would not need any part replacement and the whole inspection and repair was done in $ 200 bucks.
Inspection was due Oct 31^st but every thing is now done ahead of time. Thanks Mike for fixing our car.
Go to this guy and you’ll not repent. Very reliable!

Paul his brother runs the quick change oil place, two honest and dependable men who you can trust with your car. I have had my car repaired here numerous times with excellent results, I would not go anywhere else

They explain in detail what the problem is with the car and they never give you the run around. They are straight forward, honest, and reliable and I can’t express how valuable that is. Car failed inspection on engine light, emissions problem. Went to 3 different local mechanics. Prices quoted was anything from $ 500– $ 1500 citing problems from solenoid to replacing catalytic converter. One mechanic that is very popular in the area insisted that I pay $ 150 diagnostic test before performing work.
I found Ridge Exxon by NJ MVC pamphlet. It cost a total of $ 199 with tax. Mike the owner is one heck of an honest man. I see why all his service bays are always full.
