I ordered delivery from Grub Hub at 725pm on a Thursday, estimated delivery was 825−835pm. My order did not arrive until 930pm. I called Chris’s twice to check on the status. At 900, I was told any minute. 20 minutes later called again and was told«shortly» and that there is only one driver. Food finally arrived at 930, 2 hours after ordering! The driver told me he had been waiting outside my apartment building for a while and that my buzzer doesn’t work(which it does). My phone number was clearly written on the receipt, why didn’t he just call me? That being said, the food was pretty good and surprisingly somewhat warm. Chicken marsala and stuffed shells. Food alone would get 4 stars, but unfortunately customer service and delivery brought that down.

Being that it’s within walking distance for me, I wanted to give their pizza a shot. I’d say it was just ok. Service was quick and the price was fine. I thought the cheese was pretty good, but the crust just wasn’t what I prefer. I felt the crust on the plain pie it was a little thicker and a bit chewer than I usually like. I tend to go for more of a thinner, crispier crust. Again, this is just more towards my preference and what I like than anything against the pizza itself.

As soon as we walked in, i had doubts. It was empty and it felt like i was in a 70s diner. The 2 girls behind the counter were very welcoming. My wife, kids and parents decided to give it a shot. And thank god we did. From the pizza, to philly steak sandwich to the gyros, the food was fresh and yummy. Service was amazing and so was the food. Why the 4 stars you ask… the décor could use some updating but definitely a place i would visit again

I like this place I’ve been ordering since I was younger. There pizza is standard not the best in the world. There Italian hero sub is really good and large. There cheese fries are really good too. Nothing wrong with this place at all!

Regular slices not too great, small & thin crust, and a bit soggy not really my cup of tea but the wings are EXCELLENT! Crispy hot & fresh– sauces are good and 10 wings for $ 7.95 or 15 for $ 10.95 Good place to grab some hot chicken parms or pasta bowls plus BYOB! Wish they stayed open a bit later friday & sat nights… they close @ 10pm. A-1 pizzeria spoiled me with their 3am late night ordering ;)

Pizza was probably one of the worse i’ve had. Taste like a bad quality frozen pizza. Won’t be ordering from them again.

The pizza is like high school cafeteria pizza. It has pre-made crust and cheap cheese. Stay away if you want real fresh made pizza.

This is our go to take out place the pizza is always hot and fresh and they never take more then 20 mins to get your order ready. Their sandwiches are just okay because there bread just isn’t good italian bread. I dont live in lyndhurst and this is where we get our pizza from.

The worst pizza I have ever had. The crust tasted like it was mixed with wet newspaper and the sauce had no flavor. It was supposed to be sausage, peppers & onions. the sausage was non-existent & the peppers were raw. Don’t bother
