This review is on behalf of a friend who had her stone set here recently. She brought her ring and diamond to be set because it was close-​by, but will not return in the future. The setting fee was double what I would have paid at Sofie’s Gold Mine in Bellingham. She said the whole experience was not good and he was kind of a jerk. Lacking customer service skills. Definitely won’t be back.
Turns out, the stone was set crookedly and took a week to set a simple solitaire — no resizing or anything else required! I have had many diamonds set in the past and never has it taken more than a day — two at the most if there is a huge backlog. I think this place is just slow, or takes their own sweet time. My friend even had an appointment before walking in and it took that long!
