I got the Greco on a flat bread today and on Monday i had the Caprese Salad on a baguette. This food is absolutely amazing! You can taste the care and quality put into the food. The prices are very fair. I plan on eating there at least once a week as the other food choices downtown are getting old, fast! Great job Canopy.

My husband and I ate here today for lunch. Food trucks are swarming all over the country and Lynchburg has been getting in on the action for the past couple of years. My husband works down the street and saw the truck and heard from word of mouth that it was good. We headed down for lunch around 12:30 on the second day they were open. The husband and wife team were very friendly and helpful and so gracious to have us visit. Here’s how it works: think of it like Chipotle, where you can get a salad, a bowl, a burrito, or tacos. In a similar fashion, at Canopy, you can choose from a flatbread sandwich, baguette, or rice bowl. From there, they had 4 or 5 options to choose from(see my attached photo; I’m sure these options change). I went with The Kingston which was jerk chicken, pineapple salsa, black beans, tomatoes, and a coconut sauce and I got that in a rice bowl. Not only was it delicious and the flavors worked perfectly together, but it was huge. When they handed the tray to me, it was easily a couple of pounds. My husband got the Greco, which was supposed to come with chicken, but they had had an unexpectedly busy morning and had run out, so they offered it to him with pork instead. He also had the rice bowl and it was topped with feta, cucumbers, tomatoes, spinach, peppers, and tzatziki sauce. I had a couple of bites of his and it was wonderful as well. Nice and fresh. At $ 7, it was a very filling lunch that will leave me needing just something light for dinner. They also had side options, bottles of water and soda, and a blueberry mint tea. As I’m writing this review, on 5÷13÷14, The Canopy is operating on the 11th block on Main Street in downtown Lynchburg, in the parking lot beside Scene 3, across from Dish. Not sure if they plan on staying there, but it’s a great location and plenty of space to park in the parking lot or on the street! We will definitely be coming again!
