History

Established in 2008.

David Nelles is the President of Nelles Insurance Solutions. David has always had a strong background in sales, but it was during his time working for a large insurance carrier that he saw the need for insurance agents to be more than sales agents and more like insurance consultants. David’s background in insurance underwriting and marketing have equipped him to act as more of an insurance consultant to his clients. He will evaluate the client’s needs and match them with the best products and companies. The client’s interests are always a #1 priority at Nelles Insurance Solutions.

Business Owner

Dave Nelles is the President and principal agent of Nelles Insurance Solutions, Inc whose flagship insurance carrier is Erie Insurance. He has been in the insurance industry for over seven years. Before Nelles Insurance Solutions, Dave was a commercial lines underwriter for Nationwide Insurance.

Dave was born and raised in Michigan, but gravity and the good graces of God carried Dave to the wonderful Commonwealth of Virginia where, by the Grace of God, he will stay.

Dave moved to Lynchburg in 1993 to attend and graduate from Liberty U. Upon graduating in 1997 with a Bachelor’s Degree, he continued with his education by earning his Master’s Degree in 2000.

On a personal note, Dave married Lynchburg native Brandy Gryder in January 2000. Brandy is an amazing wife and mother to their six year old daughter, Ashley.
