Luzy’s Dapper Dog

I took my dog several times and it seems that she loves it, for her is a good experience I can tell because every time that I drop her she is happy when she is welcome by the staff. They gave her a nice hair cut every time besides I like the shampoo they used it seems according to her coat.

I went there with my dog for the first time and they did an Amazing job. I love how my dog looks

Took my Yorkie here for the first time and I’m very happy with the service, and care Luzy’s Dapper Dog provided. Definitely my dog’s new grooming spot!

Very happy with my dogs look. Only small problem was he has thumbs and they didn’t notice so his thumbs were not clipped down.
No other qualms will use them again.

This is the second time I have brought my dog to luzys dapper dog. They really love the dogs and treat them as if they we’re their own. They are very reasonably priced and my dog has come out looking and smelling great wagging his tail. I am glad to finally have found a dog groomer!

I love them here. They were so good to my dog Princess and she came out looking so cute. Giovanni did a great job.

I was very impressed with the job they did, first let me tell you that my dog has never look so well groomed. I took my dog to the petco in Oceanside, they did a terrible job, the groomer didn’t even finished my dog and asked us to come back the following day, she complained that the dog would not stayed? I would assume that if dog grooming is her real job the she would know how to handle such issues. I would highly recommend this place, they know their job very well and will go above and beyond to make your dog beautiful.

I used to use this groomer. Decent prices close to home. It’s been a couple of years but after two incidents I haven’t been back.
The first incident, they called me to tell me my dog was severely matted and I would be charged extra and they would have to shave him. I told them that was impossible. Drove to the groomer to see what they were talking about. As they pointed out the flaws in the dog on the table I asked if they didn’t think it was weird my dog wasn’t excited to see me and the dog in the tub started kicking up a fuss the minute I walked in. Turns out without a collar they mixed up my dog with another who looked the same. I had my vet scan my dog’s chip to confirm I was right and wrote it off as they were too busy close to the holiday (just before Thanksgiving or Christmas). Accidents happen.
Final incident, I came to pick up my dog and he would only open 1 eye. When asked why and no one could give me a straight answer. I told them I was on the way to the vet and any cost would be theirs. As it turns out they got fur in his eye. eye drops soothed the irritation, but it took a week for him to be back in top form.
I never called them back to update them on his condition and no one called me to look into what happened. Lesson learned.

Love them. Although they got my doggies mixed up and gave one an accidental hair cut instead of the other one, they both came home looking super cute! They take care of them and they come back happy. Yes, I can tell when they are grumpy since they act out at home! Super friendly staff and very reasonable prices. It’s the only place I go to since my doggies are comfortable there.

Dapper Dog Is Great!
Today was the first time my 6 month old Pomeranian to get his haircut.
I was so nervous because not only it was his first time, I didn’t want to leave him… But when I came back two hours later he was happy and relaxed, playing with the other dogs.
They gave him a beautiful haircut, he looks so good and smells amazing. I can’t stop looking at him!
Excellent scissor work! Excellent service!
They did such an amazing job and everyone there is so nice.
I can tell they love what they do and how much they love dogs.
I highly recommend them!!!
The price was decent. Definitely will be coming back.
His next appointment is in four weeks.

I have a shih tzu who has had a very well maintained long haircut (her breed standard) for 3 years. But I have been getting tired. It is very hard to maintain. So I went to this grooming salon in hopes that they could help me with her fur. I wanted it short but didn’t know what style I wanted. I only had an idea. I showed them photos. They told me the good and the bad of what I was looking at. They explained everything very well and I trusted them. So I left not knowing how she would look when it was done…
When I went to pick her up… OMG! She looked cute! I didn’t know what I wanted but they sure did! I am so happy! The scissor work is a little rough and uneven in some spots but fur grows. Overall she looks good and I could tell they loved their business and the animals.

It was time for my 5 month old pomeranian shihtzu mix to get his first haircut. I was reading reviews for everywhere before choosing here but I’m so glad I did. He came out great and was not scared or nervous upon picking him up, he really had a good time being there. We will definitely be coming back here again.

I took my Australian Shepherd there today for his first grooming and everything was amazing! I was nervous because not only was it his first time but I’ve had bad experiences with groomers not listening to what I wanted before. Reilly was scared when I dropped him off and was trying to leave with me. But when I came back two and a half hours later, he seemed so relaxed & comfortable! And he looked amazing! You could really see how much they love dogs there & they had decent prices too. We’ll definitely be back! Thanks!

Just moved into the area and this place popped up on Unilocal.Sooooo happy with the results! My Yorkie came out looking like a stud and the gentleman who helped me was so nice. Most importantly I have a happy little pup who thinks he’s king of the world with his new do :)

First time at Luzy’s Dapper Dog and it was as perfect as can be! Giovanni is amazing! He’s very attentive and really cares about customer satisfaction! He is truly talented and am definitely coming back!

This place is awesome !!! I have a bichon and I brought him in he was quite matted
They gave him a beautiful haircut he looked like a stuffed animal/​show dog when they were finished with him I have never seen him look so good! Also my dog has sensitive skin and any other time he has been groomed he would have sore spots for days (my reason for not having him groomed too often) well he had no sore spots he was happy and so was I also everyone there is so nice you can tell they love animals and really take care and pride in their work ! I love this groomer and so does my dog Max! They always do an amazing job grooming him and he is always in a good mood when I pick him up. Maybe because he knows he looks so awesome! They are very attentive to exactly what I request. They are also super knowledgable about dogs and always willing to give helpful tips. Recently I had concerns about Max licking his paws more than usual and the owner took her time to give me suggestions, recommending both products that she sells and homemade products that I could make at home. I didn’t feel like she was trying to sell me on her products, I felt like she was being genuinely helpful.

I took my puppy there today and I’m so happy to see the results! really great place worth 5 stars!
