History

Established in 2008.

KFM was created in the 1950’s in Vallencia Spain. It was made famous in 2006 after being featured in the movie Batman Begins and Batman The Dark Knight. It was bought to America in 2007 by the Founders-​Justo Dieguez and Andi Norman. The KFM Lynbrook New York Academy was established in 2008 and is one of the Premier Reality Based Self Defense Academies in the USA. The Chief Instructor, John Leabo was the first American to receive the KFM Black Grade (Black Belt) here in the USA. Training for KFM Instructors through out the North American Continent is done at the Lynbrook New York Academy location. JFK International Airport is minutes away from the New York Academy and Clients fly in regularly for training. Programs are available for Military, Police, Security Professionals as well as Private Citizens, Mom’s and Dad’s. Group Classes and Private Lessons are available.
