I couldent help but laugh after reading some of the previous posts… im not a big Unilocal poster but i felt the need on this one. I had this company out to my house today to fix my stove 2 days before thanksgiving. I was a nervous wreck because im having 30 people over for the holiday and of course it stoped working right before… let me just say they were nothing but professional helpful and courteous from my initial call to them where they helped me trouble shoot my appliance to when the man came and fixed it. It turns out I needed a new igniter that he had with him in the truck. he also gave me advice on my washer that I was having issues with turns out I was using it wrong (silly me) now its working great… Im happy I found this company its hard to find repair men that actually know how to fix things and not just tell you to buy a new one… now I can enjoy the holiday with my family that could have been ruined and eat tuns of turkey of course… YUMM!!! Thanks afco!

They are the worst!!! I was charged $ 137 to repair my dryer which did not work after the service. They came out and told me I needed a whole new computer part and it’s expensive. They said they will call the manufacturer for the price of the part. I was told it was in the high $ 300’s and with labor would cost me In the high $ 400’s. I asked for a discount and was told that the part is expensive, so they have no recourse. I called the manufacturer myself. I was given the parts department and the price for the part. It was $ 63.54. There is no part that is more expensive than that at all. I then called back AFCO and I was told that it was not the part but the labor which cost that much. The person, Roy, whom I had spoken with, each time, bold face lied, once he realized that I got the prices for parts, myself. He got nasty and he refused to do anything about my unfixed dryer that I had already paid to repair.
Do not use them! You will regret it.

stay away — they never fixed the problem and now want to charge me ti come back out and try again (only 2 months later)
