Dined at the bar! Service was wonderful and food was great! We were not sure what to expect from here, but shockingly surprised! Husband had the flat bread and I had the Tuna appetizer with a side of rice. Everything that we had was delicious. Wine pours are heavy which you don’t find any where! Great selection on draft beers and wine menu! Definitely will be back!

Love the food here. I am not even a fan of seafood but the burgers here are the best around! Their white pizza is delicious and they have an awesome drink menu. I’ve eaten here with people who love seafood and they have all told me it’s amazing here. Definitely worth checking out this local Land O Lakes spot.

My wonderful boss took my whole family (including my parents) out to dinner last night. We decided to try Aquafinz, the Unilocal reviews were great. The staff was SUPER friendly, from the phone call asking for our reservation to the server through the meal. We had an extremely pleasant, enjoyable experience with customer service. The food? Not as fantastic. Not horrible, just not good. The lobster nachos were just odd. Margherita pizza looked great but the bread was chewy and not cooked right. The lobster was also bland and chewy. And the blueberry cobbler had no cobbler, just canned blueberries and ice cream. Regardless, we left and felt it was an enjoyable experience.
This morning, I received a message from my boss. … «Do you remember the waiter last night said he was sorry he dropped the cup of sauce for the calamari? What he neglected to say is he dropped the sauce in my purse. I reached in my purse for my keys and came out with an empty cup and my hand way covered in sauce.»
Fortunately it was easy to clean up and her phone wasn’t damaged. But, OH MY! Word of advice ladies, zip up your purses when you eat here!

Lobster Nachos covered in lobster bisque. Enough said. Excellent.

On a recommendation we came here. Emily provided a smile & great service! Food was yummy & we will definitely come here again.

Monday night burger night, we pull in and their outside menu board reads Monday $ 4.99 burger night ! We park while it’s raining and get to the door & see a sign posted «due to circumstances beyond our control we do have burgers tonight» if so why don’t you erase it off your board or offer something else? Public is down the road I’m sure they have enough to get them buy tonight!!! What a let down.

Have been here 5 or 6 times now that we moved to a neighborhood down the road and I feel like it is a different experience every time. Food is usually good but service is always pretty mediocre and slow.
Food takes a long time and won’t be the same each time. I have ordered the London broil entrée 3x now and it has been presented and cooked differently each time. Not bad but not amazing.
If the food/​service became consistent — we would be regulars!

Decided to try this place for lunch today. Food was very good, but lunch menu was very limited. Wish there were just a few more seafood options on it. Definitely want to try it for dinner.

Not much to say about aquafinz other then disappointment, service was very basic, food was on same level. Not much life to the restaurant, every table was quiet it was a weird atmosphere. Wish menu had more creative seasonal items they had some specials but seemed confusing and server was not educated well on the menu. We eat a lot of fish when we go out and it’s always a gamble when trying new restaurants. Quality of fish was weak, the calamari wasn’t cooked well very chewy and the service just made the whole meal more frustrating. Won’t be back any time soon

We’ve gone twice and both times left disappointed. Service and food were just mediocre. The atmosphere is kind of gloomy, both times the restaurant has been mostly empty. It feels like a place where there’s a lot of turnaround and the servers are never fully trained. It’s sad because we were fan of Splash!

We took my father here for his 80^th birthday. We made a reservation for a party of 10, but they did not seem to have the reservation. So, there was no table ready for us. It was early, so there was no issue with getting a table… we just had to wait for it to be assembled.
Other than that, we enjoyed the experience. The waitress was attentive, and there was not a long wait for anything. Also, she did not add an automatic gratuity to the bill, even though we were a large party. There were no complaints about any of the food.

Good food, good service, and decent prices. Will come again. All you can eat Fish N Chips on Sundays

I don’t like writing negative reviews and in general avoid restaurants with high risk to be disappointing (I HATE paying for mediocre food) but this was a dining failure.
The food was very poor. The calamari was frozen. The fish selection was broad but the waitress had a very difficult time describing the different types to us. I ended up with a fish that was inedible. Dry, rubbery and fishy. I can eat almost anything but I couldn’t eat this. My fiancé got salmon which was edible but below average. My mom’s fish had the best flavor but that may have been the butter sauce. Nothing seemed very fresh. All the fish came with a rice pilaf that tasted like the microwave kind.
I give this place two stars as opposed to one because the waitress could tell I wasn’t eating and tried to remedy the situation. I appreciated her effort.
If you want fresh, tasty seafood look elsewhere.

Steak and shrimp is greatly delicious, big size, and thick. The sides are a pretty big size too. That’s why the prices aren’t marked on their daily-​changed menus. Just for the 2 of us was $ 70. I went with a Groupon though. Nice scene

The food is pretty good but a little pricey I have been there several times and the service is so so and the food is not consistently good. I had a time when the food was delicious and a time when it wasn’t so great.

Best Admirals’ Platter we’ve had in a long time… With Shrimp, Scallops & fresh Cod in a light batter, served with Fresh Cole Slaw & Onion Rings. Started with the Homemade Cottage Chips topped with Blue Cheese, Bacon & Scallions … Enough for a whole table! Definitely will come back and try some of their fresh fish dinners that each had an inventive twist to them.

Me and my husband were pleasantly surprised when we decided to give this place another chance the food was amazing lobster bisque the best I’ve ever had service was fantastic Melissa took great care of us we will definitely be back!

Our first experience here was pleasant, it was a little quiet, service was great, food was better than I imagined, I will go back and check it out again!

A pleasant dining experience but it ultimately fell a bit flat.
I love seafood and had a Groupon for this place and was very excited to get to try it. Made reservations and showed up a half hour early (of course Tampa traffic played nice this time) and we were told we’d have to wait until the reservation time. No problem, it’s Friday night and we’re early. Ended up being seated 15 minutes or so before our reservation anyway. Our server, Melissa, was very cheerful and really made the experience a good one.
The bread served is a regular crusty bread, but the butter is fantastic. Some sort of garlic-​herb mixture that really works. Had a bowl of lobster bisque and it was tasty, though a bit bland. GF had french onion soup and it was good, though heavily overseasoned (I’m not sure the exact spice, but basically it tasted like beef stock to the Nth degree).
I was really really excited to get the lobster mac and cheese after seeing it on the menu but of course they were out. Ended up settling for fried scallops and onion rings — it was a decent meal, but just wasn’t what I wanted at all. GF had the coconut shrimp that was on special and greatly enjoyed it, though it only came with six shrimp. No dessert for us.
All in all, a pleasant experience like I said but just not enough to push it to four stars. The service was a little bit slow and my scallops just didn’t hit the spot. I was hoping the lobster mac and cheese would be a «personality dish» that would really set Aquafinz apart and make me want to come back. But, as it is, I don’t think I’d make the drive from Brandon with any regularity.
