At Groschan & Associates, we provide comprehensive care for orthopedic problems that benefit from Physical Therapy. We will work with you to provide conservative management or post surgical rehabilitation. Our main focus is to get you back to doing what you like to do and to prevent future injuries. Our principal based care is designed to give you the tools you need to overcome your problem and prevent future injury. Posture, body mechanics, exercise and manual therapy are at the heart of what we do.

History

Established in 2003.

Owner James Groschan, PT has practiced physical therapy in the Baltimore area for nearly 30 years. His primary clinical interests include spine care, orthopedic rehabilitation, sports-​related injuries and golf-​performance enhancement. Groschan received his degree in physical therapy from the University of Delaware in 1979. He began his career at George Washington Hospital in Washington, and moved to Baltimore in 1981. In 1987, Jim founded his first private practice, acquired by Physiotherapy Associates in 1994. In 2003, he founded Groschan & Associates to provide his patients with the most comprehensive, up-​to-​date physical therapy treatment. Jim is committed on-​going education and clinical skill development.

Business Owner

Jim Groschan received his degree in physical therapy from the University of Delaware in 1979. He began his career at George Washington Hospital in Washington, and moved to Baltimore in 1981. In 1987, Jim founded his first private practice, acquired by Physiotherapy Associates in 1994. In 2003, he founded Groschan & Associates to provide his patients with the most comprehensive, up-​to-​date physical therapy treatment. Jim is committed on-​going education and clinical skill development. Married with three children, he enjoys golf and travel — often traveling to play golf. His twin daughters are graduates of Quinnipiac University, recently becoming Physical Therapists themselves, and his son attends Eastern University and plays lacrosse.
