Carroll’s Carry Out

So this is the first time I ordered takeout from this establishment. To say it was disappointing would be an understatement. I ordered he lamb Gyro with coleslaw and fries.
First the Gyro. It literally had just 4 slices of paper thin meat in it. Now understand this is a whole pita with just 4 thin slices covered with a yogurt sauce that had coarse cut onions and tomatoes. There was so much sauce that the meat could not be seen.
The coleslaw was watery and tasteless with the cabbage turning shades of brown. what was the kicker however that this slop of a coleslaw was dumped in the styrofoam box without a cover and so the sauce oozed all over the gyro saturating the pita and making it impossible to hold. If you have to have sloppy coleslaw out it in a container with a lid!!!
The worst gyro I ever had. Will never take my business here ever again.

I have been eating breakfast at Carroll’s on a regular basis since 1986. The staff is friendly and makes you feel like a regular customer whether it is your first visit or your one hundredth.
I usually have a western omelet platter (always good!). Lunch is great too the shrimp salad is awesome.
