Carl Filipiak has earned critical acclaim as one of today’s most dynamic jazz guitarists. Jazziz Magazine has included him among a renowned list of guitar players in their nominations for «New Fusion Blood,» and Jazz Times calls him «a dazzlingly versatile guitarist.»

His recordings and performances have paired him with some of the industry’s finest musicians including Dennis Chambers, Victor Wooten, and Grammy nominee Bob Berg. His CD’s have garnered him reviews in 20^th Century Guitar, Billboard, Guitar Player, Guitar World, Jazziz and Jazz Times. Carl’s music has also been featured in televised events by NBC Sports, Turner Broadcasting and the Olympics.

Actively involved in music education Carl has been an endorser and clinician for PRS and Fender Guitars. He is also a contributing author for several music publishers. His latest book, «Rock-​Fusion Improvising» from Mel Bay Publications is listed in Guitar One Magazine as «One of the top 25 books and DVD’s you must have.»
