Best breakfast in town that we found. We stayed at the Mimslyn and went across the street here for breakfast. Our server Donna was so warm. happy and friendly that you felt at home — she is a good reason to come here alone! We had eggs, pancakes, and sausage. It all was homemade and delicious. Even the coffee and OJ was very good. All for a great price. I’d eat breakfast here every day!

Not as scary as the other motels in Luray and not as expensive as the Mimslynn Inn. Rent a cabin if you can! If not then this is the second best option. So the rooms are big with TV, microwave, and a fridge. I don’t usually hang out in the room much but it does it job. The manager charged us twice for some reason and we had to get a refund. Ants were in our bathroom which we complained about. And our comforter had a large stain on it so we kicked it off the bed. The breakfast place is ok; they give you %20 off if you book there. Also pricey on the weekends for a Best Western but when you don’t have a choice in decent accommodations you cough up the money. The 3 stars is based on what you can get in Luray, otherwise it would be 2 stars

Stayed for 3 nights while visiting for a family wedding. The room was small but clean. Tiny bathroom. Oldish furnishings. I am giving 2 stars because the bath linens were absolutely gray with age/​washings. It really shouldn’t be too much to ask for clean linens that actually LOOK fresh.

Server for our family breakfast was Donna. She is wonderful and her warm, positive attitude made it a pleasurable meal!

My main complaint is that the bathroom wasn’t cleaned. There was dark hair in the tub when we got here and the toilet had poop and urine stains under the lid. If they aren’t taking the time to clean a bathroom what else aren’t they cleaning? And their Wifi was slow… But the pool was very nice and the restaurant attached was good. I called for more towels and they brought them right away. Their phones were down which was annoying and I have a feeling a frequent thing. It was a very basic motel and I can’t say I would stay here again due to how dirty the bathroom was and my fear of what else they may not be cleaning. The staff was nice, but cleanliness is my #1 requirement when staying somewhere.

I was a little nervous about staying here because of the negative reviews. I was pleasantly surprised. sure, the décor is a bit dated, but the rooms are good size, it’s clean, the wifi is fast, and the location is great. It’s basically what you would expect from a good budget hotel.

This place is gross! It looks like an old Motel 6 that badly needs a makeover. Even the color scheme, olive and gold, is reminiscent of the 1960’s. The sheets and the duvet kept sliding off the bed and I think we got bed bug bites. The breakfast, which they give a 20% off coupon to people staying at the motel, was acceptable. The waitress was the best part of our stay. She was super friendly and accommodating. Not a place that I can recommend.

BED BUGS!!! Found them on the bed and even crawling on my shoes! Caught two and brought them up to the front desk and they were like «yup those are bud bugs» and then immediately said we’ll give you $ 25 off your night stay! Now I’m at the Laundromat trying to sterilize all my stuff!!! Ridiculous!

About what I expected. Mildly scary, but not as scary looking as the Budget In down the street. The room has some real funky odors going on and I don’t want to walk on the carpet barefoot. I can’t even think about cleanliness of bed. The comforter, which is about as thick as a dinner napkin, has some nasty blood stains. Bring a sleeping bag. Not worried about bed begs, but the bed is hella uncomfortable and I woke up really sore. Terrible night’s sleep.

Room was adequate enough for me. Bed was large and comfortable. The rest of the room was typical hotel ambiance. I didn’t go into the pool but it was open until 10 which is later than I’ve seen before but that’s good. I also didn’t get a chance to comment on the breakfast aside from being given a 20% off coupon for it at check-​in.
Continental breakfasts are one of the highlights of any hotel so it’s a shame this one didn’t offer one.

Not terrible but for $ 120 a night the staff could at least put a smile on their faces and say thank you. Bathroom was obviously dated and too small. For $ 50 more a night more you can go across the street to Mimslyn where they have personality and updated rooms.

I got NINE bed bug bites from a one-​night stay.
At least my husband and toddler didn’t get any.
They also verbally promised 135 on the phone then charged 150 when we arrived. Also dozens of flies in the room. There was a lot of splotchy mold on the bathroom ceiling. The floor didn’t
look very clean. Fixtures all looked really no old and in need of updating.

I stayed at this Inn for the anniversary of my loved one. I booked it online and asked them to have a bottle of champagne ready for me when I arrived. I did not follow up by e-​mail or call, but once I got there, the bottle was there ready for me — cold. Superb service for a place where one stays for cheap. Room was clean and had everything we needed.

The room was ok for a cheap room, clean, furniture flat screen tv. The wireless doesn’t work. The bathroom was really small and that’s why I’m giving it a 2. There were 2 hairs in the shower, not from me. And the back of the bathroom door was dirty. Oh, the ice machine doesn’t work either.

I wonder why this town doesn’t have a Hilton or a Marriott?
Got here at around midnight and there was no receptionist. I used the phone at the door, standing in the cold. A lady drove up in about 5 minutes to unlock the door. I wasn’t too thrilled by this but the room was adequate at $ 65 a night. The heat was already on and the bed, although it was hard as a brick, there were lots of pillows to make up for it.
The bathroom was clean, but like someone else wrote, the fan sounded like a 747 taking off.
We didn’t eat there and didn’t stay long.

A good choice for an overnight stay in Luray before or after visiting the cave. Comfortable beds, clean quiet rooms, and a helpful staff. A bit pricey but this is a touristy area.
There is a pool and there are a refrigerator and microwave in each room and free wi-​fi that works. The usual «continental breakfast» is just a discount on a full breakfast served in an attractive dining room several steps above the usual coffee room, and right adjacent to the office.
Overall, I was quite satisfied. I guess the other reviewer caught them on a bad day or my standards are low. Probably the former.

The only good thing I can say is that there weren’t any bed bugs, at least that they are aware of as of yet.
Bathroom faucet was broken. Bathroom ceiling fan sounds like a jet taking off. Beds were really hard. TV didn’t work.
The worst part? At 2:30 in the morning we were awoken from a dead sleep by someone trying to tear down the door to our room. The next morning the front desk calls and asks who we are and then informs us that we were supposed to be in 103. Apparently there was some staff screw up on room assignments. The only thing that stopped the other guests from walking in on us was the deadbolt.
This place need new management.
Wish we had stayed at the Mimslyn Inn across the street.
