We just stopped in for a quick dinner. The food was Delish and the service was great. We were pleasantly surprised to have live music during our meal. Great choice!

Dog tired after driving all day and trekking through both Skyline and Luray Caverns. Nice open casual décor and ambiance. Friendly service always greatly appreciated. You order starting with either a burrito or a rice bowl and add on whatever protein, beans, and toppings you want to come up with your own creation. You can sit at street level or go downstairs and enjoy the live music along with your meal. Great spot with fresh ingredients and friendly service. Prices are more than reasonable given the portion sizes. Was yummy and hit the spot!

Like a Chipotle with good beer! You can sit upstairs and eat in a really cool setting or you can go downstairs to the bar and play games. Or, go out on a small patio in the alley! Wonderful for the kids, groups, friends, everyone! I wanted to give 4 stars because the rice is occasionally undercooked but it doesn’t deserve to loose a star. I will continue to eat here and the staff is friendly, Wayne downstairs is great. AND!!! One of very few places to use a to go container that is completely compostable!!!

Horrible taste because there was no taste at all! Pork and steak had no flavor and rice was hard to bite! I couldn’t eat any of it!

I love this place! First floor is like chipotle service, the downstairs is a bar with entertainment, very chill with couches, pool table and variety of beer selection.

Great find! Had dinner after exploring the Luray Caverns. Tasty food, friendly staff, and great ambiance. Steak was very tasty, and the burritos were delicious. The place is very cozy and the room itself was exquisite. It has a basement were they have live bands. Its great for hangouts with friends and great for lunch and dinner. Rate 11⁄10!

My boyfriend and I were staying in Luray for the weekend. He’s an omnivore but I’m currently vegan and was worried about finding anything nice to eat in town. We saw tofu as an option on their menu when we were researching, and we decided to try it. WOW! We both agreed the burritos were awesome! He got steak, and I got tofu with green peppers and onions, and both types of their beans(pinto and black) are vegan! Hooray! They had delicious house-made chips, fried from tortillas, and yummy guacamole. The setup is sort of like Subway or Chipotle — you have an employee build your burrito in front of you at the ordering counter. The portion was huge — we had to eat a late dinner we were so stuffed from lunch. It is in a beautiful building with big plate glass windows, pressed tin ceilings, and a library shelf with a rolling ladder. We enjoyed sitting at the one high table, which was in the window. The gentleman who put our burritos together was friendly and professional, and we enjoyed chatting with him for a few minutes. Thanks for the delightful vegan options, 55 East!

Loved the super friendly and helpful staff, the décor, and how clean everything was. Food was very tasty and made fresh, including the tortilla chips! Place has table seating upstairs and a cool pub setting downstairs with chili lights, pool table, darts, and other games. Live music in Thursday nights. If I lived local, I’d be a regular here!

Pretty much like a Chipotle. Food was okay. A bit bland but adding enough sauce gave it the kick I needed. Chips were really good. Also conveniently close to the caverns and easy to find street parking.

Love this place! Friendly, fun, good food, incredibly warm owners. Tofu, pork, beef, and chicken burritos. Beautiful space… Ceilings have got to be 25 feet high -/an old hardware store. Bar in the basement, music on Thursday nights.

Burrito bar, chipotle-style. Super good. Large portions, decent prices, delicious chips. Great beer selection. Friendly staff that obviously cares about your dining experience. Worth the very short drive from the Caverns. Will visit next time we are in Luray.

Not bad for a quick lunch in town. It reminds me of Chipotle. Burritos and bowls are available to customize and you can get chips and guacamole as well. The décor is really cool. The tortilla chips tasted more like wontons than chips but they were fine.

My friend and I got the chicken burrito bowl and it was delicious! The chicken had so much flavor and the ingredients were extremely fresh. It has a very cool atmosphere and very friendly staff. Our only recommendation would be a larger drink selection ie. An ice tea or lemonade bar to go with their coffee. Ps. Chips are fantastic!

Really good, cheap eats in central Luray. Went with my brother and his family of picky eaters the other night. It is a simple setup, you have a bowl or a burrito and as you walk down the counter you tell them what you want. I’m trying to get more vegetarian for health reasons, but passing on steak for tofu doesn’t come easy. The Tofu burrito I had was actually outstanding. Packed with fresh, flavorful ingredients. And, while I passed on it they also had some very interesting looking bottles of beer. If you want to have something tasty, in friendly laid back surroundings then the Main Brew is a fine choice. I get to Luray just about never, but if I were a local I’d quickly become a regular. Well done, Folks!

Came here after seeing the caverns. Had high expectations based on reviews. Seems like a family owned business, which is nice. Food was decent; it’s definitely not better than Chipotle. Chicken was dry and lacked flavor. Par boiled rice. But it was a pretty good choice. We and the kids finished all our food. Service was spotty. When I asked for a bag, the younger lady told me there was a charge. Then the older gentleman ended up giving me a bag without asking. They also had trouble hearing me behind the glass at the serving counter so my order wasn’t exactly as I had anticipated.

We’re from out of town and came across this little gem on their 9th day of operation. This is a Burrito and Bowl place. The service is fantastic. The owners are 2 moms living out their dream. This place is a definite success. A must must must!

so glad to have this restaurant in our town. Long overdue! The food is great, the steak burrito and chicken burrito bowls are very good! The toppings are all fresh and it shows. Love the house made chips too. Would love to see a few more hot sauce options. I hope they eventually bring Sangria to the drinks menu. Not a beer drinker here! The owners are a joy and I can’t wait to go back and try the Mediterranean option.

A new brew pub in Luray. Great craft beers and locally sourced food served in café style. Simple excellence. A great addition to the downtown.
