Imagine, it’s a dusty hot summer day. You need some refuge from the heat. Inside, the store owner, Mr. Lynch, sits at the counter watching his TV. Sounds like something from a movie? That’s how it felt here. If you need somewhere to stop in for a quick bite, drink, or cool treat, this is a decent and safe spot. It’s not as run down as other convenience stores in the area. However it is not a gas station so you will still need to fill up elsewhere. There is a bar on one side of the building with pool tables. If you need to use the bathroom it’s not that pretty in there and the two toilets in the women’s reminded me of Sochi but at least there are no bugs. As for the food, I really enjoyed the sausage biscuit. Mr. Lynch said the meat was fresh. Indeed it tasted better than most convenient store food. My son liked his personal pizza. Lynch’s General Store is on Broad Street just off of US-1.
