I went here for cosmetology and let me tell you, THINK Twice. I should have known this school was a joke when I went in for an appointment to sign up and there was a guy director then when i started school less than a month later there was a new woman in charge. The director position has been switched over 7 times, i kid you not in the matter of 9 months. The teachers get into the student drama and play favorites like you will not believe. Teachers really dont teach you anything, other than Miss Jean. She is the only good teacher there. You will have classmates that could not care less about learning a trade and are only there for the free daycare voucher. I was lied to about my financial aid multiple times and was called upstairs 2 weeks into going to school there and asked why they hadn’t received my first tuition payment. I was told i would start paying in October of 2014 not September. They looked it through and noticed i was right but the fact was that the director had messed up my financial aid plan. I mean go to this school if all you want is head aches.

I am looking to go into Cosmetology school so I visited Jolie after hearing about it numerous times on the radio. I have to say, I was not impressed at all. The word«academy» is sort of misleading. The place is not very big at all and was not well kept. I went there for a financial aid appointment and when I got there the woman did not even have me down on the schedule and took me anyway with foils in her hair. I was willing to overlook that mistake, but when I was talking to the woman I had my appointment with, she was very unporofessional and did not seem to understand much about financial aid at all. I could not even finish what I came for because the woman who«booked» my appointement over the phone told me the wrong materials to bring. Overall, I was very disappointed.
