At The Little Gym, our environment is fun, but our purpose is serious. For more than 35 years, our trained instructors have nurtured happy, confident kids through a range of programs including parent/​child classes, gymnastics, dance and sports skills development, plus enjoyable extras like camps, Parents’ Survival Nights and Awesome Birthday Bashes. In all of our programs, physical activity is a conduit for Three-​Dimensional Learning. In every dimension, self-​confidence and a proud smile are evident outcomes.

History

Established in 2012.

JD and Britney Lott have always been passionate about children. Britney has a background of 8 years gymnastics experience and 17 years of dance experience, including 5 years on national award winning teams. After dreaming of owning a business JD and Britney fell in love with The Little Gym program and concept, opening The Little Gym of Lubbock in September 2012. You will see both JD and Britney in the gym teaching classes and having some Serious Fun with the parents and children. You may even see their little Beast running around from time to time. Our goal is to not only be the #1 place for children to build confidence and new physical skills, but to provide our customers with a place where they experience first-​class service. JD, Britney, and the entire fabulous team of The Little Gym of Lubbock are so excited to be a part of this wonderful community! So stop by anytime to say Hi!

The Little Gym loves kids! The teachers connect with my daughters, they remember them, they make them feel special. My older one seeks affirmation for everything she does and while that’s not really something I do well, the teachers at The Little Gym are excellent at praising her for a job well done. My younger daughter is a ball of energy, and the beast/​super beast classes are so great at navigating her energy levels, while teaching her to focus on a group activity and be a part of the group. As for the gymnastics aspect, my two-​year-​old is and uneven bar prodigy thanks to her little gym classes!

We absolutely love this place for our 18 month old and are going to keep him in this program for as long as we can! It’s been really good for our son, and it’s totally worth the investment. JD is the owner/​instructor, and he’s superb and great with kids and parents. These people really care about their business and the kids and parents they serve. It’s always clean, and they are helpful, friendly, and welcoming. We can’t recommend it enough! My 19 month old and I both love this place! The owner/​instructor, JD, is really energetic and fun. We learn new skills, play, sing songs, and even learn sign language during a 45 minute class. My son really enjoys exploring the gym and I love having structured play time with my son.

The Little Gym is an awesome program for all ages! My two year old has blossomed with her social skills. The teacher is amazing and the kids follow him like the pied piper. We drive all the way from New Mexico to be a part of the fun! Love it! Highly recommend!

My now 2 year old daughter has attended the little gym for about 6 months and loves going every week. I am always amazed that Mr. JD knows and calls each and every child by name. He is truly amazing with the kids and you can tell he really enjoys what he does. My daughter has been able to learn so many different skills through the little gym that have made her more aware of her body, able to do many more activities and in a safe, fun way. I love the variety of activities The Little Gym offers, as well as the songs and enjoy that we as parents get to be involved and participate in the class. I highly recommend classes at The Little Gym to everyone. It’s a great way to get some extra energy out of your kiddos!

I took my daughter for the free trial session when she was just 10 months old and not quite walking. I was so impressed by the instruction, facility, and parent interaction that we joined immediately after. My little one is now nearly 20 months old and has moved up to the next age level. We’ve done both weekday and weekend classes as our schedule has changed. She has grown more confident in her physical abilities and social skills each week. She enjoys her time there so much that I’m considering an Awesome Birthday Bash for her this year.
Sidenote: The owner is very supportive of causes in our community!

My daughter that started the program at two years old and is now going on three goes every Wednesday around noon. There are many times and days to fit your schedule. She learns so much from her instructor and other kids her age. They make a fun, safe and easy to learn environment. Before we moved to Lubbock Texas my daughter used to go Gymboree classes, The programs they teach at little gym is very similar. They teach all ages. I recommend this place to first-​time moms or dad’s and for kids to socialize with kids their age. there’s a waiting room area for parents to watch their kids while they socialize, nurse or take business phone calls. There’s two/​three rooms for teaching that are very clean. They also have fun events. Give it a try for you and your little one to learn and experience together. :)

I have two girls, age 9 and 4. They are in different classes have very different personalities and both LOVE this place. Instructors are very nice, girls have sooooooo much fun, and learn without even noticing! Love the Little Gym of Lubbock!
