We are a full service comic book store that specializes in new comic books and graphic novels. We offer free subscription services and special orders on a wide variety of new comics and related items. We also carry a variety of back issues, used comics, collectibles, statues, and action figures. Inventory varies week to week, and prices reflect current market trends. We have been in business for over 30 years and appreciate the Lubbock community for all the support and interest they have shown throughout the years.

History

Established in 1977.

Star Books & Comics has been in the same location serving Lubbock’s pop culture needs for over 3 decades. What started as a book store that carried some comics has grown into a full service comic book and collectible store.

We have seen it all, and at one point done it all but our passion has always been comics. New releases in both comic books and graphic novel formats is our current focus.
