Went with my family on a Saturday it was awful. Tables full of dirty plates, and they were out of everything but the salads. I even ordered chicken that took 15 min and it was burnt. I usually love this place so I came back on Tuesday and when I spoke to the manager about the service on Saturday he merely said«we had a lot going on».that really made me feel unsure of how this trip would be. By the way everything was great .I recommend going weekdays at 11am.

I went in with friends for lunch. The cashier was friendly. The salad was great. I didn’t try the pizza or soup. It was very busy at the time we went. Our waitress came once to bring water for us. But I had to go find her to refill the water. She wasn’t very attentive. I wouldn’t say they were all like that because the waitress a few tables away was seen more often.

Took my family of five boys and got out for under $ 40 tip included!!! $ 7.50 for adults, $ 5 for children 7 – 11, $ 3.50 for children 3 – 7 and children 2 and under are free which is a great deal because my 2 year old out ate us all. So many options for even my pickiest eaters. I had a wonderful fresh salad and if things were empty they were soon refilled. I had a baked potato that was small but perfectly cooked and super hot. My kids enjoyed the tacos and mac and cheese and of course the blueberry and gingerbread muffins. They went back for seconds and came home quite full and begging to go there again tomorrow. My husband is not really a salad lover but had soup(there were 5 different kinds), cornbread, potato, pizza and spaghetti. Really a wonderful option for a family. Beverages did cost extra but waters were free and the tea was very good. They have redecorated since I was last here and is so much nicer. Very clean, our waitress was exceptional and sweet. We got a lot for our money and were very pleased. Finish My Review

This is definitely an enjoyable place for some healthier eating. The salad bar has an extensive selection and is well-maintained during the day. The soup selection is very good, and all are delightful. Even the unexpected items such as the potatoes or pizza are serviceable. Overall, you get a good selection for the price. The staff is friendly but could stand to be slightly more attentive.

This is my first time here and I love it! Its ingenious! Lol OK so maybe that’s taking it too far… mayB. The people are so nice and quick to serve. I never ran out of sweet tea(side note Sweet tea here is really good and that in its self is hard to find) our plates were cleared away as soon as we were finished w them and we even came during lunch hr! I will definitely be coming here regularly. Its clean and the soups r hot and really tasty!

Went there with a friend last week. Salad was fresh and delicious. Waitress was very attentive. I got the tomato basil soup and it was pretty bland that’s why only four stars. Everything else was great.

First off, exceptional staff all the way around. However, I found the food inferior to other Souper Salad locations I have visited in other cities. Probably would not eat here again even for salad.

It’s Soup or Soup here, guys. The only thing good besides the soup was the ice cream. We bought our meals and proceeded to get our food and when we tried to sit down there were no tables available… We were halfway through dessert before our waitress even introduced herself and asked what we were drinking. The salad was soggy, the dressing was questionable, the bacon was fake. We also witnessed a child drop two containers of spoons on the floor, and put them back for people to use; all while no one said anything. Yuck, and I’m still hungry, what a waste of $ 16 bucks.

The food was good but the customer service was atrocious. I seriously wanted to «mom talk» the server and say«spit out your gum». It took over 10 minutes to get drinks, they were extremely slow to refill, and the server seriously said nothing except«what can I get you to drink?» The WHOLE time. No, «thanks» «can I get you anything else», NOTHING. She did hand me a card that says she appreciates tips. I am big on tipping, my sister is in the service industry, but this is the first time I resented it. Its a buffet! The only thing you are getting me is a drink, and you took 10 minutes to get it! Nonetheless, it says if you don’t have cash the server will put it on your debit card for you. I think about not tipping(probably the 2nd time in my life) and so I time it. After 10 minutes of sitting there, with no drink and my debit card on the table, I get up to go. I still sort of feel bad about not tipping(those darn southern manners) so I hunt her down. It takes another 5 minutes to get cash. I gave her $ 1 and I’m done.

I have been going to these salad tester ants for thirty years all over Texas. This is clearly the nicest I have been to. Absolutely wonderful.

I’ve been here several times since moving from California and have yet to be disappointed. My only complaint is that sometimes it takes a few minutes to get acknowledged and pay up front. I don’t think their current low rating is warranted at all… It’s not as fancy as the Churrasca salad bar but you’re not paying $ 35+ per person either. There were 3 salad options along with everything you’d expect at a full salad bar. There were even a few lo cal/fat free dressing options and blue cheese crumbles. The pizza was ok and there were a few varieties of breads and soups along with a potato and dessert bar. All in all it’s a great place to fill up on healthy fare, or you can indulge on a few not-so-healthy options if your heart/stomach desires. I will say that it’s a little goofy that they charge for chicken breast, but I wouldn’t want chicken sitting out for awhile either. Can’t comment on quality since I’ve never paid extra for it.

There’s no way to politely say this, but eating here was a great disappointment. There is no fresh in anything that is served, from a can or from a bag. The wait staff was much to busy talking amongst each other or goofing off in general to fill any part of the buffet much less people’s drinks. TL;DR: bad food that costs way to much, stay far away.

2 stars is pretty accurate. It’s a great concept and they have a few other options to consider. However the freshness of the options and choices could use some extra help. Just because you add some seasoning to something doesn’t make it better or great. Check your shaker and use better ingredients.

If your going for soup & salad– Go to Jason’s deli. The chicken noodle soup was awful. How do you screw that up! The Italian dressing tasted off, & the ingredients weren’t very fresh. Disappointed.

haven’t been here in a long time a, new owner/manager?, greeted us very friendly as we walked in. The place was clean. You pay then eat. The salad bar was fresh the premade apple walnut salad is delicious. Also a wierd take on alfreado with corn in it was surprisingly good. Our waitress was friendly and on the ball. The salad/soups were good and the build your own strawberry shortcakes and free icecream top it all off.

Worst Souper Salad ever! Food is sub par, they do not accept the company promos, and half the staff are incompetent. I understand this is a franchise location, but if your not going to accept my corporate coupons do not display the corporate promotions information on every single table. The back of the staff does try their hardest to please. Which was the only breath of fresh air here.

Let me say that I’m comparing this buffet with Golden Corral, Soup Plantation, Vegas and city buffets. It is by far the worst one I’ve been to. First of all, the hosts are the only nice people who work there. The servers are un-educated young people who tend to be very rude. The last server I had dumped someone else’s tray at my table even though we left a purse and sunglasses to signal that we were still there. She then gave us an attitude for the rest of our dining experience to where we had to sneak out because we didn’t leave a tip. Food: some of the soups are bland. Some of the salads with dressing are bland. That leaves you with consistently stale taco shells and a trip back to the salad bar to add lettuce to your taco. The pizza and muffins are good. Of course the soft serve which is pre-processed is good. So half of the food is good. But add the bad wait staff and it is not worth the $ 8 and dark lighting when you can go over to Golden Corral, get steak and a better selection of flavors and service. Sorry for the bad review but after 4 trips to this place I was disappointed.

Screw the soup or salad, it’s all about the pizza, tacos and soft serve ice cream! Don’t get me wrong the soup and salad are good but I tend to hit up this«healthy» eatery for its not so healthy options!
