Garage Door-Overhead of Lubbock

I have had very poor customer service from this company. They did not make it to my house on two separate scheduled occasions, just stood me up completely, TWICE! Then they showed up on an different day when I had specifically told them I would be at work. The guy called me to see why I wasn’t home. Then the worker finally arrived on a different day and he spent five minutes to make an adjustment that did not solve my garage door problem! I do not recommend them!
They deserve NO STARS! I would like to give them negative five stars!!! Now calling someone else after wasting about 10 hours of my time waiting around on Overhead Door and my garage door problem is still not solved!

Very disappointing. Called at 8 AM on a Friday morning with an emergency (garage door not opening… TWO broken springs). Repeated call at noon, was told the dispatcher couldn’t reach the repairman. No call by end of the business day. Friends helped get the cars out of the garage… couldn’t open that beast alone with the broken springs. Had an alternate company come out Saturday morning and replace the springs within 2 hours of my call to them. I wanted to avoid that weekend service call, but am VERY happy with the other company’s response time and work.
Fast forward to Monday afternoon, 2:15 PM… Overhead (Andy) calls. I explained it was an emergency and we had someone else get us taken care of. I got a story that «someone in the office put a note on the ticket that a Monday or Tuesday repair would be fine»…since I never said that, I’m not sure HOW that could have occurred and the young lady who answered the phone both times seemed to understand the need to have this done ASAP.
I’m so confused by companies who don’t seem to take customer service into any consideration. How do these businesses stay afloat?
And oddly enough, 2 separate friends have since had garage door problems and I’ve sent them the name and number of the alternate company who helped. Business LOST for Overhead Door of Lubbock.
