I love how friendly they are at Elite! They always seem happy to see you and do a great job! Their mango margaritas are the perfect addition to the Lavender pedicure. Huge color selection and CLEAN!

This place sucks. I asked them how much a service would cost when I checked in and they told me 65. When I left they charged me 80 and the guy who told me 65 had already left for the day. The menu said $ 65 but they said it was $ 80 bc I wanted a certain brand of polish. Makes no sense.

Only been here twice, but both times had excellent service! Was seated right away, shellac fill took barely 40 min including this hand soaking wax thing. It was amazing! Replenished the moisture in my hands. Staff are very friendly and attentive, everyone seemed to be in great moods. My last manicure lasted over 3 weeks, would’ve been longer if my nails stop growing. Lol
Will definitely go back again.

We went there this past Friday and had a horrible experience. My girlfriend had gone there before and it was better. Maybe we just came on the wrong day with Easter coming up but it was horrible. The wait was forever. After soaking my feet in the water at the massage chair, I was over it. I took my feet out. One of the 2 male managers finally came and asked me if I wanted a beverage while I waited. I had a glass a glass of their (Wild Vines I think) blackberry wine. The girl that did my pedicure was nice and said she worked there for 4 years. I told her I liked her apron that said I love (heart) Nails. She said she hated it. She handed me their menu of all their offers. There are way too many options. She was very insistent on the $ 60 pedicure. It is their «tropical citrus» treatment. I told her no thanks and she kept saying how much better it would be for me etc. I told her nicely «no thanks» several times. All I really wanted after she was being super pushy was just a basic pedicure so we could get out of there but I was nice and got the milk & honey pedicure. She didn’t seem too happy about my decision. About half way through my pedicure she said she needed a break because I guess a man she was giving pedicure to before me decided at the last minute to get his eyebrows waxed. I was left there again. She came back to me looking overwhelmed. I felt sorry for her. Then I pulled out my phone for the 15% off if you check in with Unilocal and she got really upset and insisted it wasn’t them. She took my phone to the manager and he got upset and spoke in their language and said to me that it’s not their business that offers it and it’s gotta another nail place near by. I looked at their menu with their address etc and verified that it is the same location as what is on Unilocal.Lucky for her I gave her 15% tip despite the huge disappointment of going to this place.
I’m not done yet.
My girlfriend who was with me just had a manicure done by a lady named «Kathy.» Kathy asked to be paid up front for some odd reason. Then my girlfriend tipped her and she responded with «that’s it? Oh you must have been waiting too long honey» in a sarcastic tone of voice. According to my girlfriend, this «Kathy» lady was pressuring her to get one of the more expensive manicures as well. I don’t know if this what they’re trained to do but it’s pretty ridiculous. She also pressured her to get another color and my girlfriend was in disbelief. She told the lady it wasn’t her first time getting a manicure and she knew what colors she liked and didn’t like. She wanted to leave. She was super upset like myself. We should have cancelled our whole trip to that salon but we were in town to do our nails and to run errands and go shopping at Costco.
What a disappointing experience. Needless to say, not going back there. No thank you. Don’t go :(

This was by far one my worst experiences in my life.
Let me start to explain, I came in originally wanting a pedicure and manicure. I received my pedicure, I loved it all was good. I got the citrus with shellac for 80 bucks. I also wanted this for my manicure, I decided since I was having fun to go with a full set. The lady who did my manicure was extremely rude and refused to give me a margarita. She also rushed my full set and left out the citrus. Not only did she not do my citrus, she didn’t lotion my hands or anything. I asked about a facial and she said that there were two kinds. I asked what the difference was abs proceeded to tell me the prices as if I couldn’t afford one. She then asked if the card I had was mine and took of and charged it without telling me what she was doing. The receipt read services that I didn’t even recieve. I briefly attempted to tell the manager as she was yelling (the manicurist) I had enough, signed the receipt. Tipped each lady and left. My regret is that my nails are a constant reminder of this horrible day.

I usually have a really good experience but the lady I had today was really pushy when I want the simple pedicure, and rushed and apparently they don’t do the discount if you check in so don’t bother… idk I’m really not happy with today’s costumer service but they did a good job on my nails. I’m not sure if I’ll come back :\

Most importantly my nails last an appropriate amount of time
I love gelac. They sometimes last 2weeks, other places I’ve been to-​only 4 days!
Anddd you rarely have to wait more than 5 minutes

Went in with a friend on a saturday and they were pretty sparse which should have been my first clue. My girl was polite but my friends guy was very rude. I got a gel polish mani and my thumb was lumpy and bad so she quickly redid it without question which was good but she rushed it way too fast so when I left I noticed it was uneven and it got worse the hour after I left. I was very unimpressed with this place. My gel mani shouldnt be hideous 1 hour later. Go somewhere else for your manis

Back in May I went here with one of my friends to get both manicures and pedicures. I brought a specific color because I was going to be a bridesmaid’s in my best friend’s wedding that weekend, the 4^th. The bride picked out ‘Tart Deco’ produced by Essie, which is found in drug stores.
The paint job was awful. It was visible that the technician was struggling with the paint, but said nothing. Once home (5 min.) my finger nails had dents and creases in the heavily layered, semi-​dry paint job. Perhaps it was the polish? Either way his service was pointless, I removed all of it once home a did it myself. Not to sound arrogant, but it looked nicer and actually dried.
I also did a pedicure here, using their polish, and it turned out fine.
Bottom line? Don’t bring a polish from home here. It will be a waste of money as it lacks their mojo needed to look professionally painted.

This place sucks! I went to get my pedicure and manicure done. First of all, they nickle and dime you on everything! The plastic they put on the tub is a $ 1 plus if you want to get your heels scrubbed, that’s 5 extra dollars. What in the world? Isn’t that supposed to be part of getting a pedicure. My manicurist was not attentive and seemed like she was rushed the whole time! I am originally from Houston, so I have been to several nail salons and have been very very happy. This place was a disappointment and I really recommend finding another salon.

The salon was very nice looking, they greet you and get you seated right away. They don’t have a very wide selection of regular nail polish but they do carry a much larger selection of shellac gel colors than most salons. They hurry through their jobs and don’t do a very good job of it at that. I got a pedi/​mani that was done within 30 minutes. I go to relax, not be rushed around the store like I’m just taking up space. Very few of the employees are actually pleasant people and half of the time if you request something, they do not understand what you mean so instead of asking another employee they just ignore you. I was very unsatisfied with the place.

Overpriced, mediocre pedicure. Pushy nail technicians that will give you substandard service if you don’t want the $ 80 pedicure. I recommend Spa Nails @ 82^nd and Milwaukee!

The best place in Lubbock! Visiting town and was absolutely blown away by their friendliness and very cool spa pedicure choices!

This is easily the best nail salon in Lubbock. The service is great, and it’s clean. The quality of your mani/​pedi depends on who you get, but my experience was awesome! Be careful though because they do that crafty thing where they ask if you want them to use callous remover and then they charge you extra without mentioning it when they ask. They serve drinks, and the staff is friendly. Two well manicured thumbs up!

the worst job, they rush it, and did not last, they do have a nice place but i paid for a service and want a descent feel when i leave the shop, i gave them 2 chances and i left both time really mad, just because my friends wants to come and try it

Not the worst, but certainly not the best pedicure I’ve ever gotten. The (male) technician was extremely rough and was definitely on the less is more interaction plan, like some other reviewers have noted, definitely not a friendly person. Don’t think I’ll be coming back… Kinda makes me wish I’d gotten my toes done before I’d come to lbk for the wknd.

This salon is huge! I was really surprised. I have never been to such a large mani/​pedi place with soooo many chairs. Despite the number of chairs, it didn’t seem crowded and it didn’t smell like either feet, acetone, or acrylic.
I called ahead, as I was in town for my boyfriend’s mother’s graduation from Tech, and didn’t want to be late to the ceremony. I was assured we wouldn’t have a problem being… pedicured? lol. Sure enough, we were pedi’d immediately.
I had a male tech who went with the less is more method of communication… normally I don’t mind this cause I want to relax, zone out, dick around on my iPad, etc, but he was just downright dismissive. I can’t put my finger on why, but he was just rude. Neither I nor my boyfriend were offered anything to drink, while women around us were served champagne. I guess we didn’t look rich enough? Lol. Seriously though, I was pretty offended.
The pedi itself was good. Not the best I’ve had (hahaha), but certainly not the worst. The calf massage was particularly goooooood, and I think a lot of that had to do with having a male tech. It wasn’t skimpy either; probably close to five minutes. Paint job was ok. There was a little polish left on my big toe when I left but whatever I guess.
What irked me the most was when I paid, I tipped my guy and my boyfriend’s tech, handsomely ($ 10 each on a $ 40 service). When I told him no change, he just nodded and took it. Ooooooooooook you’re welcome!
The pedi was good, the service bleh. If I lived in Lubbock I might give it one more try before saying I wouldn’t go back, but I guess I can say I’ll never go back (dang, drama queen, lol). I certainly wouldn’t recommend it if good service is your thing. Meh meh meh!

AWESOME nail salon! (located near the mall off slide) The staff is friendly and professional. I went in during lunch and Phil did my nails. I am particular about how my nails are done (solar, american nails) and he listened to my requests and did an outstanding job! I know they offer cokes, water and even wine for you while you get pampered! The list of services they provide is long! I totally suggest this place to anyone in Lubbock needing a good mani/​pedi! Great pricing too! Go see for yourself!

AMAZING! I wouldn’t even think of getting my nails done anywhere else in Lubbock…
Unfortunately there weren’t enough nail salon reviews on Unilocal to really guide me as to where I should get them done, so I went with a hunch and chose Elite based on the location and because of Danielle S’s 5 star review.
First of all, I have never been to a nail salon that offered me a margarita or wine — score! I love this place already… :)
They had 8 different treatments to choose from for manicure’s and pedicures:

Coco Mocha Mint
Lemon Drop
Fresh Cucumber (which is available seasonal)
Tropical Citrus
I chose the Lemon Drop treatment, although I was seriously contemplating the Lavender. :)
Christy was my technician — — she was awesome! Unbelievably friendly, caring, and she definitely does a great job!
But… I’ve never had a manicure treatment where they soak your hands in lemon and lime slices, and then squeeze the juices on your arms. Then as if that wasn’t good enough, she used a lemon sugar scrub on my arms — blissful!
I chose the Gelac polish with my manicure, as I was curious. I am rough on my nails, so I thought I’d give it a try.
Okay — — so treatment was 5 stars!
Christy was 5 stars.
And the ambiance — this place is HUGE! One of the largest nail salons I’ve ever been to. Tons and tons of pedicure chairs… Everything, including this nail salon, is bigger in TX! :)
Just go! (And enjoy your cocktail while you’re pampered…)

This place is amazing! I came here on a recommendation from my friend who use to live in Lubbock and will continue to come back. They got me in right away, sat me down to soak my feet, offered me a drink and asked which pedi I wanted. They have a whole list from the basic ($ 25) to the milk and honey ($ 40) which is what I got. They also have a lavender treatment and a special one for diabetics. The milk and honey was amazing. Sea salt scrub, lotion, the best calf and food massage I’ve ever had at a nail salon. My guy took his time and made it well worth the money. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing experience.
