You have to try this! Been to several spas in different states but Kelsie’s microdermabrasion and facial treatment are the best I’ve had! Made my skin feel like silk. She has a light touch, is very professional and makes sure you leave there looking great and feeling relaxed and recharged.

Booked an appointment with Shelly and had to cancel because my boss called a meeting. I cancelled more than 24 hours in advance so she would have plenty of time to schedule someone else. Then on the morning I had rescheduled for, my child got sick. I called at 7am to let them know — again, so she would have plenty of time to schedule someone else — and she called to gripe at me that she «does not allow 2 cancellations» and she would only take me if I promised to be there. Huh? I’m sorry I’m not going to make my husband stay home from work with a sick kid so I can get my hair done, that’s ridiculous. It’s not like I just didn’t show up, I tried to call well in advance and had 2 legitimate emergencies. I told her never mind I would find a stylist who wanted my business. Would not recommend due to poor customer service.

I have been seeing Holly for five years and I love her. She’s fantastic — I trust no one else with my long hair. If she ever had to cancel my appointment (due to unexpected circumstances), she made sure to contact me and reschedule. I love her and highly recommend asking for her specifically when making an appointment

I’m visiting my folks from out of town and I wanted to try the sugaring on my brows. Well, they don’t offer eyebrow sugaring even though it’s a specifically stated service on their website. Either the receptionist didn’t know what she was talking about or they need to update their site. Disappointed!

I have lived all over the country and I still cannot find a hair stylist even close to as good as Adrianne Bush is. I have been to high end salons in Chicago and in Florida and they don’t even compare. Adrianne always does exactly what I want even when I don’t know what it is that I want. Not to mention she is very fast. I got so spoiled at how fast Adrianne was, I was a bit shocked to find out what she does in 2 hours takes 4 hours everywhere else. The thing I miss most about Lubbock is definitely Adrianne from Davidson Taylor!

I went here for a facial. I had the 70 minute service. In terms of the quality of the actual facial, I thought it was good, the estictician did a good job and I also appreciated that they didn’t try to sell me products afterwards. Also, when I compared to some other spas the cost was a little lower. The reason I only gave it 3 stars, however, is because this place is really a salon and not a day spa. Most day spas I have visited have nice relaxation areas for before or after your treatment and the room where they do skincare are far removed from the salon. At Davidson-​Taylor they basically have a room in the back where they do the treatment. Its not far enough secluded that you can hear the goings on of the salon which makes it hard to really have a nice relaxing experience. So for a facial that’s not too expensive this is good, but if you want a nice day spa experience, I probably wouldn’t go here.
