Description

Specialties

Vision care and treatment of eye disease.

History

Established in 1979.

This practice was started by Dr. J. Davis Armistead in the early 1950’s and is Lubbock’s premier provider of vision care. In the «Good Old Days,» Buddy Holly came to us for his vision care and those world famous iconic glasses. Dr. Gibson continues the tradition of high quality vision care today including the treatment of eye diseases like glaucoma and dry eye syndrome. Dr. Gibson is Lubbock’s only Optometrist who has proved his professional abilities by becoming a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry. He is also a founding doctor of the Laser Eye Center of Lubbock where you will receive excellent care by «Local Doctors You Know and Trust.» Dr. Gibson came to Lubbock in 1979 and has practiced in the same location since that time. Whether you need new contact lenses, laser refractive surgery or management of an eye disease, you can trust Dr. Gibson for superior care and professionalism.
