Not the treatment I received, perhaps that employee is no longer there? Mark was the one who took care of me, wonderfully nice and he made sure I understood exactly what they were doing, how the cost worked, even let me in the back to see that was computer was, in fact, being worked on. Took it in on a Friday because the charger port was messed up, by Monday they’d replaced it and provided me with a used charger, since my dog had chewed on it, making it unusable as well. Total cost about $ 200 — not bad! I’m satisfied!

Unfortunately, I failed to read any reviews before taking my lap top to Akram Discount Computers. In October 2010, I took my cpu in for service. I paid over $ 100 and was at the time relatively satisfied with Akram’s service. In late May 2011, I noticed that my cpu was having the same problems. I called Akram and was told if I brought in my cpu and it was the same issue they would fix it for free. I dropped my cpu off and waited for a call. After several days, I called and an employee told me that it was the same issue so it would be fixed for free. Later that day I received a call from a different employee who told me it was the same part but it would not be fixed for free because it was just back luck that my cpu had the same problem. He actually stated «you should pray to god, that you have no more issues with your computer». I asked them to leave my cpu alone that I’d be by to pick it up before the close of business at which point I was berated, told I was a hard headed customer, and had not conscious.
I went to pick up my cpu, hoping for no further confrontation. When I arrived I was once again told I was a terrible customer, a jerk and once again hard headed. I attempted to leave, and the employee followed from the store, and continued to yell at me. I stopped him at one point to ask if he had read any of the negative reviews about his company. I was told that if I posted a review «he would sue me for slander». I politely explained the difference between slander and libel and told him I looked forward to meeting him in court.
I am not hiding behind an alias online, based on my review he should know exactly who I am and since he has a profile with my information on it I should not be difficult to locate should he choose to bring suit.
Avoid this place at all cost. It is absolutely unacceptable to follow a customer out of a business yelling at him, I only wish he would have had customers in the store that could have witnesses his behavior and known to avoid giving him there business.
