I wish I could rate this 3.5. I like this place, Lowell needs more places like this. And actually, the building is quite pretty with large windows looking out on to the cobblestone street, high ceilings, brick walls, wooden floors– all the wonderful things that come with an old building being refurbished. What I really like is the relaxed atmosphere– think neighborhood bar minus the dark, dank-ness. They have a pretty impressive rotating draft menu for Lowell(von trapp, smutty nose, etc) that has been surprisingly seasonally appropriate. The pizza too, pretty darn good! This is not a fancy place, not trendy, and honestly no amazing service(it is okay-not bad). What TreMonte is, is a relaxed spot with decent brews and good pizza; a chill place to stop by in Lowell center.

Stopped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Bartender was friendly and knowledgable on their selection of beers on draft. Had the small pizza margherita and it was awesome! Place is mid range price wise but well worth it.

This is a great restaurant! Friday, 730pm. A small wait, but worth it. The draft beer selection was decent(12 revolving) — could add a chalk board so it is visible to the dining room. I visited this restaurant because I was told it was the best pizza in Lowell… And it was fantastic! Fromaggi white pizza was delectable. It’s a busy place, so a but loud — bit otherwise awesome!

What a great place. We got two seats at the bar on a friday night, got there around 5:30. The place quickly had a long waiting line, but there was also a concert in town. Bar service was great, never had to wait for anything. My caesar salad with steak tips was delicious. The tips were seasoned just right and amazing. A Bacardi and coke is $ 8. Hubby got a burger which he enjoyed. The drinks were strong and tasted good. Lots of tvs to watch the games.

I’ve been here a few times now with my in-laws, who live in a condo down the street. They have plenty of seating and a pretty diverse menu. They are pretty well known for their pizza but I haven’t checked it out yet. I had their steak tips on a salad, which was cooked perfectly and was very good. My family all enjoyed their meals, including burgers and stromboli. They have a very good beer selection and do flights of beer, which was cool. Our service was very friendly and fast when we were there and we always had drinks and waters when needed. I haven’t been there when it’s been very busy, but it always seems to have people there on an afternoon or evening. I think it will probably be our go-to place for the neighborhood.

Favorite place. If you don’t order buffalo chicken nachos you’re doing it wrong.

Great pizza. Good beers. WICKED slow service. Here in a Sunday. Not busy. Really slow — stupid slow — service. No excuse. Too bad.

Slammed on a Sunday night and waiting on food. What staff I see is running their trails off. But seriously a place this big needs more than two waitresses, a bar tender, and a host. Poor ownership, great staff, good food.

If you’re in downtown Lowell looking to eat dinner, come to Tremonte! Whether you are a family, a group of friends, or in the mood for a romantic date, this is the place for you. The pizzas are delicious. The chopped salad is a freaking amazing deal– so tasty and you can easily split it with someone and have more than enough. Love the steak tips and the prosecco is awesome. Yes, it’s a little pricey for downtown, but not nearly as bad as Cobblestones and, I think, superior. The wait staff is super friendly. Server Nichole C. Is especially awesome! She is friendly, fast, & efficient– meets all of our needs. She takes the ever changing beer menu that she hand writes out for you so you can choose. The ice bar is super cool also!

My husband loves the shrimp and chicken pizza. They never go wrong on the pizza. Nachos are a good staple app. Drinks from the bar are always strong. Best of lowell for sure. Great outdoor space in the summer. Happy they have pineapple cider in rotation.

LOVE TreMonte! We love TreMonte for a Friday night pizza and beer kind of night. Often go and sit at the bar and get the special pizza which changes often. Our favorite is to do the make your own pizza and put caramelized onions, garlic, and peperoini! Om nom nom. Do not leave this place without trying their house wings! They are amazing. It is some sort of sweet/BBQ/Aisan yum sauce. Husband is a bit of a beer snob and feels it is the best place to get a beer locally. Solid selection with rotating taps. I have also had their House Burger that comes with bacon and blue cheese(I get BBQ on the side as well) which is very good. All in all, a great place for a Friday night to go out and watch the game and hangout. Very friendly bartenders as well :) Thanks!

I really wish TreMonte would get it together. We went last night and much like the other reviews here I have to say the service was terrrrrible. If you don’t mind being left alone for 30 – 40 minutes once you’ve ordered and have that time to wait for a pizza that cooks for like 8 minutes then I would highly recommend the place as their food is consistently good. From what I can tell there are some good servers here and some awful ones. Last night we had an awful server. She took a bit to greet us which we brushed off. We ordered drinks and my sisters wine was corked or awful or both. She let the waitress know and she brought another glass. The wine was still awful and my sister didn’t drink it. I had a Moscow Mule(delicious) and was able to tolerate the rest of the night because of it. We ordered and appetizer that we never got. After about 50 minutes my drink was gone and we hadn’t seen the waitress but once to refill my water. My sister was going to order something different but of the maybe 5 or so times the waitress passed our table to help other she never once stopped to ask if we needed any thing or mention that our food was going to take a while. So ultimately we wound up flagging out server down to ask her to get our food to go. It was then then that she mentioned my stromboli was handmade(I should hope so!) and can take up to 20 minutes to cook. Yeah. Great. And what about the other 40 we’d been waiting? So she came back a minute later and said she’d have them add a free dessert for us since we weren’t able to stay and eat. That right there was an admission of guilt if you ask me. Something had gone wrong somewhere and we were not told. It was another 10 before we finally got our boxed food and left. The wine we didn’t drink was not taken off the bill as we were told«We can’t take alcohol off the bill.» That’s where she lost her tip. You should not lie to a customer. I’ve never heard of such a thing in any restaurant ever. Gotta keep up your liquor sales, right?

They are good place. Their food is really good… But they are always running behind. I usually do take away during lunch time. They estimate 20 minutes to pick up and once I get after 20 minutes I ordered I still have to wait another 20 minutes! And because of that I lose my lunch time!

Lunch hour disaster!!! A group of 6 of us went in to celebrate a coworkers birthday. Normally when people come into your restaurant at noon on a weekday, they are most likely there on their lunch hour(especially in the downtown area of a busy City like Lowell — on a Thursday or Friday). We were seated somewhat quickly, but then the rest of the visit fell apart. It took about 15 – 20 mins. before anyone even asked us if we were being helped, and we were told by a waitress if our waiter wasn’t able to help us soon she would come back. Finally our waiter came and took our drink/food order. After another 10 mins. or so(at least) the bartender came over to ask us what our drink order was because she hadn’t seen a drink slip for us yet.(I was watching the bartender the whole time and she was awesome! Flying around the place not only serving her own customers at the bar, but also delivering drinks/food to the tables on the floor — basically picking up the pieces. Our eyes met a few times and I knew she knew what I was thinking about the service we were receiving. She really did all she could to make the situation better). The person who’s birthday we were celebrating had a 1:00 meeting, so she had to leave before our food even arrived. It took over a full hour for us to get the food — which was delivered to our table first by the bartender, then the rest came from our waiter. The pizza I had was delicious, really very good. However, that didn’t make up for the poor service at all. We waited yet again for him to come back and get the check from us. In fact, one of the women in our party got up from the table and brought it to him stating we were very late and had to get going(I know he saw the other woman get up from the table and leave earlier). His reply was something like«oh sorry, didn’t know you were in a rush». Ummm… we’ve been here almost 2 hours!!! I’m not sure where the disconnect lies… if it is a under staffing issue, or if the kitchen is slow, or if our waiter was new and couldn’t actually walk any faster than the snails pace we witnessed today — but the only positive thing I got out of my visit was watching the woman behind the bar and her amazing work ethic, and the enjoyment I got from finally receiving my pizza because I was starving(and again, it really was delicious). Do yourself a favor and don’t try to squeeze in a «quick lunch» here — it just won’t happen.

They don’t «count change» here. You stink! Seriously. My $ 8 pizza got rounded up above $ 9 after tax. I gave them a $ 10 dollar bill and was basically told to go F myself when I asked for my change. «We don’t count change here»! Who does that??!

A bug flew into my wife’s beer and they very specifically said they would only refill it half way because she drank some. Never coming back, enjoy your bug pizza and bug beer. Half a glass of beer? Fuck you!!! Shitty fucking customer service.

As usual, great outdoor atmosphere, cold beer, mature, attentive service(compared to the place across the street). Enjoyed our special, the sausage add-in on the Margherita pizza. Annie is a tremendous server. One of our favorites.

This review actually includes my very first walk out of a location due to long waits and poor service. We arrived with a 45 minute time frame due to lunch during work. We were seated immediately and placed our drink and food order in. It took roughly 10 minutes to get our waters, it was at this point we became concerned with time. It would have been alright, as we’re aware it was not our servers fault the wait was long, what was her fault was that we did not see her again for close to 25 minutes, both waters empty, and our time running short. In the end we chose to leave before or food arrived, and we had to inform another waitress because ours was nowhere to be found. Had we been informed that things were slow, or there were challenges in the kitchen we could have made a call to either eat elsewhere or find something that came faster. Unfortunately a lack of communication lead to a very unhappy customer and a poor Unilocal review.

I frequently visit Tremonte on Monday nights, I always sit at the bar and receive excellent service from Renee, even when I’ve been here long after the door has been locked and it’s just myself at the bar. I typically order the BBQ chicken pizza, but have had everything from pasta to salad here, and have never had a disappointing meal or experience. Tremonte offers a great atmosphere, a variety of craft beers on draft, and they have an ice bar… So your drink never gets cold. I highly recommend Tremonte.

Wife and I ate here tonite and it was better than we’d thought it’d be! First off, we were seated right away and then, Jennifer, our Waitress welcomed us to the restaurant within like 2 min of our arrival at the table and took our drink and app order, which came out seemingly right away. We ordered the Fried Mozzarella app and for dinner, the BBQ Chicken pizza and the White Pizza(called Formaggi I think). Those came out within like 10 min of ordering. The pizzas were light yet flavorfull with plenty of flavor without overpowering you with ingredients. The whole dinner which was two personal pizzas, 4 beers, and an app was UNDER $ 50 which was possibly the biggest surprise of the evening. As citizens of the Mill City, we hope to see this place thrive, we’ll be back!
