Romeo & Juliet Cafe

Yummy food. I ordered number 1. Steak, beans, rice, fries and salad… loved it: tender marinated meat, well-​cooked overall and fresh lettuce. It has parking not on the street, and a straight forward menu with pictures of the main dishes. The place is small; takes less than ten steps from the door and you’ve reached the opposite wall. Desserts are ready to go (unique appearance, but don’t appear as fresh), tv is available for watch, and seating is available parallel to the counter to face the outside.

Wonderful Brazilian food!!! The workers are so sweet and friendly! Their desert are perfection like the tres leches. They most speak Portuguese but you can get away with Spanish/​English. You get soooo much food for such a low price and it is tastey! My coworker brought me here and I’m glad she did. Will be coming there when I’m in the area. 11 $ gets you a huge 2 person plate of food, a drink, and desert. yum

Awesome authentic food, hidden gem. Don’t be shy, staff has great service but the food is the star here. Divey dark location of Lowell, small interior with a few stools for seating, there is some parking though. Prices are great and quality is even better. Try the burgers, and one of everything, haven’t had anything subpar here yet. Be adventurous take a field trip here.

Small café, but great food and great staff. Very clean, and the bakers came out to put cakes in the display case, and they looked like they just stepped out of a surgical room. Hair nets, gloves. I was very impressed. Good prices, great food, big portions.

Yes, we may only go here after 9pm for a quick Brazilian dessert, but we love love love it. We always bring whoever we are downtown with to Romeo and Juliet’s for a quick dessert. Always delicious. And it is fantastic that they are open super late.
We usually get the pudim de leite (the Brazilian version of Flan), or cocada (a delicious coconut piece). We have had the X-​Todo (a cheese burger with a million toppings) as well and they are huge and delicious.
At first glance the location may be offputting since it is basically the size of a train car on a small side street, but the quality of the food is great and the employees are always so nice. Everyone we bring here dies over how good the food is.
I believe they deliver and do pizza too. Definitely worth trying out!
