Specialties
We focus on the areas of personal injury, consumer bankruptcy and immigration. We are also Tax Preparers with full representation rights before the IRS and DOR. We have put tens of millions of dollars into the pockets of our personal injury clients. We do not believe that anyone handles more Lowell auto accidents than we do. Attorney Haskell has filed or been involved in thousands of personal bankruptcies. No one in the City of Lowell has filed more personal bankruptcy petitions, probably because no one in Lowell is more experienced, more knowledgeable or more flexible about attorney payment plans. Attorney Haskell enjoys an extraordinary level of success in the Immigration Court, as well as with his immigration filings. We pride ourselves on being friendly, effective, efficient, professional, value driven and always focused on the needs of the client first, foremost and only.
History
Established in 1988.
Attorney Haskell has been practicing law since 1987. Originally, he was an associate for lawyers in Boston. He started coming to Lowell on his own time to meet clients in 1988. His practice quickly grew, and by 1990 he went out on his own, opening an office on Middlesex Street. Originally, the practice was general, with a heavy dose of a divorce. However, as soon as the personal injury practice was large enough to sustain the firm, Attorney Haskell stopped taking contested family law (although he will still do uncontested divorces). Just before going out on his own, Attorney Haskell worked for a firm with a large bankruptcy practice and he handled most of their hearings, as well as preparing petitions himself. Bankruptcy was always a favorite practice area, because it is a powerful tool to help people when used properly. Through his travels and interests, his immigration practice has grown. Now he actually appears at embassies as well as the Immigration Court. to help clients
Meet the Business Owner
Louis H.
Business Owner
Louis Haskell has been practicing law since 1987. Before that he went to Brandeis University where he graduated Magna cum Laude with High Honors in Economics and went to work for the Congressional Budget Office. Realizing that there were better professions for arguing all the time, he went to Law School at the University of Virginia, one of the top ten law schools in the country, and graduated in 1987. At that time he went to work in Boston at a firm specializing in personal injury and later left to another firm to learn bankruptcy and divorce. Bankruptcy he enjoyed and still practices. Divorce he could live without. In addition to building an effective consumer bankruptcy practice, he has also built a powerful personal injury, especially motor vehicle accident practice. He has enjoyed extraordinary success in this area, putting literally tens of millions of dollars into the pockets of his clients. In addition, he enjoys immigration and has built a successful practice there.
