My first visit here, but I’m generally impressed. It’s funny how every Asian market has distinct strengths and weaknesses. K-Market isn’t big compared to other stores, so you probably won’t find everything you’re looking for. Fresh vegetable and meat selection is good, not great. Same with dry goods. But they manage to stock an impressive array, and their prices are outstanding. Prices for everyday products like dried noodles, fish and soy sauce, bulk rice are all below other stores. Many of the veggies and herbs are packaged in small bags so you don’t have to buy more than you need. And they have one of the biggest selections of fresh noodles around. I spent maybe 20% less, and the quality is good. What’s not to like? And oh yes, in response to an earlier review, the store is both clean and odor-free.

The few nice things I can say about this place is nice produce(with decent prices!)… And nice staff willing to help the non-Asian customers. The smell is god awful soon as you walk in. And the meat section is stomach-turning disgusting. Meat and chicken are sitting in freezers in open boxes with blood ALLOVERTHEPLACE. In the open air fridge with packaged meats there was a silver bucket with meat and blood just sitting out in the open… With a pair of tongs IN the blood. disgusting. If I wasn’t ready to vomit, I would have taken a picture to prove it.

Great community market. I like being down the street from this place. Their produce is fresh and the staff are very friendly. The quality of their food is quite good, and sometimes you can score a delicious dessert on your way out :-)
