Jay’s Handyman Service

We couldn’t remove a screw on the cover of a flood lamp so we could replace a bulb, and we couldn’t climb a tall ladder to fix a piece of wood pulled down by a limb in the October snowstorm. I called several handymen (including a well-​known place that claims to return calls within 24 hrs… I am still waiting, and I left my message with his answering service), and the only one who returned my call was Jay. I saw his truck signage when I was driving in NH and left a message on his phone when I got home. He called back within 5 minutes, made a time to see what had to be done, and then confirmed the evening before.
Jay was here promptly and assessed the «damage.» He bought me a new flood lamp (he couldn’t remove the screw, either) and bulbs and was able to fix the wood and not have to replace. He was here for fewer than two hours, and was courteous, knowledgeable, pleasant, and affordable. He’ll travel anywhere, so give him a call if you need to have something fixed. He did a good job, and my husband left the job to an expert: And Mr K didn’t get electrocuted or fall off a ladder.
