This place is amazing. We had pulled pork and the brisket sandwiches. Both were loaded with high quality meat and very tasty. We also were able to order our Christmas prime rib at the same time. You will not be disappointed.

We have gotten skirt steaks from them twice. They were great the first time. However, they were very tough the second time. They first time they cut them for us to order. The second time they were prepackaged. A specialty shop such as this should provide consistently quality meats.

When I first tried them after they opened I was pleasantly surprised. Their sandwiches became a favorite for my son and I but recently the quality has declined greatly and the price has gone up. Now you pay 8 $ for a sand which. The amount of meat has decreased, it is much fattier than it once was and it had barely any sauce in it. Sadly the canned pineapples may have been the best part. I really hope they step it back up but unfortunately I will not bother going back.

Got 6100% grass fed ribeyes for a bachelor party last weekend. They were the best tasting thing I’ve ever cooked myself and one of the best steaks I’ve ever had, including some of the fancy steakhouses. I highly recommend and can’t wait for another excuse to go back.

Their specialty is a different type of pulled pork sandwich. It is not for everyone. It is a tougher cut of meat. I have the feeling they are using the whole pig and then salting down the mean to be tender. In other words they’re not doing the same old thing so well done. If that weirds you out go for the brisket. There are rumors that they offer a class to butcher a whole pig how cool is that.

My husband and I bought a full pig from The Boar and Bull and have loved every bite! Yesterday, I made an amazing ham roast in the crock pot, and this morning, we’re eating bacon. From the ordering process to pick up, they were amazing. This was my first time buying meat this way, and Miles helped me patiently through every detail. When I have a little more room in my freezer, I’ll be buying a part of a cow from them, too. This is such a great way to get high-quality, organic, local, and sustainably-raised meat at a much lower price than the grocery store. I put their hand soap in the guest bathroom when my mom visited, and she loved it so much, she asked to take it home with her!

This place is amazing! I ordered the brisket sandwich for lunch and it was some of the best I’ve ever had. Portions were generous… and smoked on site. Everything is prepared in house with quality meat cuts. The beef was grass-fed. The menu was very small(perhaps 5 sandwich choices?), but I’ll definitely be going back. And I plan to buy some steaks to grill at home from the butcher’s case.
