Kirk Eye Center is a physicans office, specializing in eye care. Dr. Kirk is an ophthalmologist that has practiced in Loveland for many years and is one of the most respected Ophthalmologists in the area. He provides routine and medical care and treates all forms of eye disease. He is a very successful surgeon and prides himself on being progressive in all aspects of eye care, including injections for AMD. Dr. Colvin is an Optometrist that has practiced in Loveland since 1989. His specialty is difficult contact lens fits, although he sees patients for both routine and medical eye exams.

The practice also employes many highly qualified technicians, opticians and medical office staff personnel, with a focus on making sure our patients get the very best medical care available, provided by careing individuals in all areas of the practice.

History

Established in 1991.

Kirk Eye Center, previously know as Summit Eye Center, has been located in Loveland since it’s opening in 1991. We have grown from a practice of 5 employees and one doctor to our current staff of 20, including both an Ophthalmologist, Dr. John Kirk, and Optometrist, Dr. John Colvin. We moved to our current location at 3650 E. 15^th St. in January of 2005, and both our staff and patients enjoy the relaxing and open floor space, and the improved flow for our patient exams.

Dr. Kirk is a highly regarded ophthalmologist that has practiced in Loveland since 1991, and is one of Northern Colorado’s most experieced surgeons. His practice includes routine care and medical and surgical care for many eye conditions, including diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, cataracts, and glaucoma. Prior to living in Loveland, Dr. Kirk was an Estes Park native.
