History

Established in 2005.

Founder Marie-​Jose Payannet created Danse Etoile Ballet to offer artists of all ages and talents a way to train, perform and participate in the community. Since its first performance in Janurary of 2005, Danse Etoile has produced original story ballets in classical, contemporary and folk styles, and has offered numerous free performances and outreach programs in schools around Boulder County. Scholarships for students in need are provided every year.

Danse Etoile is a non-​profit organization and hopes to establish a strong dance company in the community. In Danse Etoile we believe that everyone is capable of artistry and excellence with hard work, discipline and fun. The Arts is an essential part of a striving community.

Business Owner

Originally from the South of France, Marie-​Jose has been living in Colorado since 2001. She created Danse Etoile in 2005 to offer artists another outlet to train and share their talent with the community.
