If you’ve been to one Walgreens, you’ve been to them all. This location was clean and in a good location. I predominantly use this for prescriptions, which has always been able to be filled. I have had both good and bad customer service experience here, some that may be attributed to my mood as a customer.

Never been disappointed, always great customer service, simple selection of booze when you dont have time to get lost in old town liquors.
Sometimes the workers can be a little creepy but they are always on the polite end.
VERY preferable when it comes to convenience, too much stuff going on at the speedway across the street.

Coolest drugstore soundtrack I’ve ever heard: M. Ward and Matt Pond PA in the same visit. Sweet.
I recommend getting the loyalty card, because it can really save you some bucks. Or cost you some, if not. For example, if your spouse has his or her heart set on a pink Revlon emergency hair dryer. $ 16.99 vs $ 20.99.

It’s a Walgreens, so there isn’t much to say.
Though the staff is generally helpful, their new pharmacy hours are less than convenient. To quote the late, great W. H. «Boss» Hoover, «it sucks».

Worst customer service I’ve experienced from a pharmacy. In addition to picking up my prescription I needed an OTC medicine, with a sick infant in the car I asked the pharmacist if she could grab that for me. We reply «we are way to busy, I can’t help you.» She could help me, she chose not to, there’s a difference.

I don’t know why, but I assumed that this location would be on par with the downtown location (read: dirty and weird). But I was pleasantly surprised. It’s clean. It’s big. They have a parking lot (notable in the Highlands). The employees were helpful. Because of it’s convenient location, I know I will be back. And I won’t dread going there.

This location of Walgreens is the pharmacy I use, mostly for its proximity to my house. I can’t say I ever saw myself reviewing something so non-​descript and generic but hey I guess the option for 3 stars is there for a reason. It’s your typical Walgreens. They claim stars from me because of the great customer service I I experience whenever I’m in.
Also, go here for really really random Christmas decorations, as seen on tv products and since it’s Louisville– even a kizito cookie. Score!

This is my neighborhood Walgreens and it wouldn’t be if I didn’t like it. (I’m smack-​dab in the middle of two locations, the scary one on Broadway, and the nice one in the Highlands.) I’ve not met a single person at this location that wasn’t helpful and kind. Walgreens sells everything under the sun so I’m sure whatever you are looking for you’ll find it here. It’s clean, has it’s own parking lot, has a drive-​thru pharmacy, and a large assortment of vitamins; which is important to me.
Don’t make the mistake of parking your car in their parking lot at night and walking to a bar — they don’t like that and will tow your car. :) I’ve seen it happen (no, it wasn’t me!) You’ve been warned!

This review is regarding the Walgreens Take Care Health Clinic. I went in for a visit on 2−21−12 for strep throat. I just got a bill last week, almost six months later. My insurance company would cover all but $ 12 dollars if Walgreens would have sent the bill back in March. There is a mistake on the bill and when I called customer service I had to speak to 3 different Filipino women because there was a problem with communication. Their English was terrible. I shouldn’t have had to be on the phone for a total of one hour. The issue was still not handled properly. I had to ask that an American give me a phone call. Why is Walgreens out sourcing jobs to the Philippines??? Shame on you Walgreens. Sending jobs to other countries when the unemployment rate in the US is so high. My time was wasted trying to understand the women. I am boycotting Walgreens all together. Sorry you have to run your business so poorly.
