The Canine Connection

Fast and friendly service, price was average, not really what I’d call a good deal, but about what I expected to pay. The cat did have hair still falling off of her, as another reviewer pointed out, but she was clean, and cut exactly as I asked. I did get charged a $ 10.00 fee for my cat being especially mean –also expected, but still. It seems to me mean cats are part of the business, and a surcharge is inappropriate.
Overall, a satisfactory visit for us! We will be back!

Awful. I have no idea if the groomers have changed since the 2013 reviews but my goodness was the woman who worked on my chi horrible. My dog didn’t smell clean and was covered in fur from other animals. Horrible attitude and they told me my dog was a ‘biter’ we travel and she is constantly getting groomed at different places. NEVER have we been told she has ever tried to bite someone. She is a rescue dog, was abused and used for breeding. She is nothing like most chi’s she is calm, quiet, cuddly not to mention very sweet. When the groomer removed her from the cage she yelled at her and tried to force her collar back on, my dog pulled away and retreated to the back of the cage, the woman proceeded to yank her out and when she noticed I was watching acted more calmly towards her. Her so called biting was their reasoning for overcharging me, which if she treated her anything like I saw in those two minutes was greatly deserved. You don’t yell and yank an abused dog around. Completely ridiculous. My dog was shaking and buried her head when she was returned to me it’s been an hour and when I go to pet her she pulls away and acts afraid. It pisses me off more than anything for someone to mistreat an animal. For them to undo in a couple hours what took us nearly a year to accomplish with our baby is unacceptable. So if you want to gamble with the quality your animal will receive then I guess this is the perfect place for you! For everyone else who wants their dog returned to them happy and not reeking of cigarettes then steer clear!

I’m sorry to the person with the negative comments but your experience at the canine connection was bad an in my experience is going there for the past two years they have always been great and had excellent service sometimes there are circumstances that someone walking in can not get immediate attention if the dog needs to be secured or if a dog is aggressive and has behavior issues the animal has to be taken care of first so that could have the issue…
Also if you ever noticed inside the store there’s Security cameras in every corner to ensure quality of service. also you can request at any time to view your dogs grooming to ensure quality of service! So Thank You Canine Connection for taking care of my fur baby an the awesome cut!

The Canine Connection is a great place to take your fury pet friend!!! I have Oreo a 2 year old Shih-​poo and he was needing a haircut! The poor thing hadn’t had one since mid-​November! So I found this place on Unilocal and thought I would give them a try! I walked in and the staff was very friendly and they were priced just right! They did everything for $ 45. Whereas at Petsmart they charge $ 79 for a full groom! Another positive note Oreo was less stressed then compared to Petsmart! I think the main problem with Petsmart is there is too many animals and it overwhelms him whereas The Canine Connection provides more one on one attention. Once Oreo was done and I saw how good he looked I went on and scheduled a new appointment for 8 weeks!!! :)

I take my yorki-​poo pepper there for his haircuts. the staff is great and super helpful. Pepper always leaves fresh to death and with a treat bag to boot. He is always much happier when i come to get him and looks great. i know he is a difficult dog to work with because I have tried to groom him myself and he bites. The staff never has anything negative to say about him and is expertly trained!
