Sonic Drive-In

The service here is very hit or miss, but the food is good and the price is right. And they have pellet ice, who doesn’t like pellet ice?

I like sonic for a quick drink or fries but this particular location takes forever. Even when you just order a fountain drink. I always find myself very frustrated with the wait time and I often get tots here that are already cold when I get them.
On a positive note the staff are always super friendly and nice!

Not sure what the fussy is all about.
Two cars ahead of me, so I expected a wait time. Immediately they took my order and I say 15 minutes later I got my food.
Remember Sonic is NOT traditional fast food. You don’t only have ONE LINE. You have maybe twenty parking spots that can all order at once. Keep that in mind, also most Sonics have the same problem like this. It’s not a issue they fix… ever. So a change of mind set might be needed before having your fast food dreams crushed.
That being said, I had a Coke, double burger w/​bacon and tots. The little card machine didn’t work but the staff lady mention most are broken so they ran my purchase in house. A few minutes later I had my car bk and the ketchup I asked for.
The food was actually really good. I was surprised as a matter of fact how good the burger was. The bacon was a bit on the super burnt side but whatever the majority of it was create. Tots n Coke, also not horrible.
My meal was on a Wednesday after 6 pm.
So your experience here depending, will vary but remember… not fast food here… keep that in mind.

I am not sure why I always come back because it is without fail ALWAYS the worst service ever. I guess it is those darn slushies!

Awful. 25 mins for 2 burgers and shakes then it turns out you get a surprise burrito instead of the burger. Another 10 mins to correct it. To top it off we didn’t get straws for the shakes. Save yourself the hassle

Incredible slow service. Do not go here if you are in a rush, hungry, or have kids. It seems like the minimum wait time is about 15mins.
However the food is good and the main reason I come here is for the Cherry Limade.

One star for Mike’s service. I stopped in to pick up dinner to take home to the family. I waited over 15 minutes for a disgruntled car hop to come over with a tray. She handed me a beverage cup and then proceeded to hand me a hotdog. I didn’t order any hotdogs. I ordered 4 cheeseburgers and an unsweetened tea. I ask if the drink is in fact, my unsweetened iced tea. She says yes and leaves without apologizing for the wrong order or the delay. She comes back 10 minutes later with my correct food order. I ask for a straw for my drink (because I wasn’t given one). I start to leave and taste my drink — it’s sweet tea. I go back and this time Mike answers the red button. He apologized and get my the proper tea quickly.

I also wish I could give a negative score. I stopped during a short lunch break. I pressed the button 3 times and it took several minutes for them to take my order. That should have made me leave, but I was so hungry. I had a small order and asked for onion rings. They also told me they currently dont have them.
After ordering, I sent a text so I knew what time I had ordered. 22 minutes later they brought my food. 22 MINUTES!!! I could have drove home, grilled a burger, made onion rings, sat down for 10 minutes and made it back before I would have received my food from them.
I have never been more disappointed in «fast» food!!!
I will never again go to this sonics. Im tempted to call their head quarters and let them know of their horrible service.

Wish I could give negative stars. Wow, this place is ridiculous! I starting working right up the street this week. I’ve not been to a sonic in years. It was the closest (and I thought fastest) choice I could choose on a 30 minute break from my training. WRONG!!!
Yea, that many exclamation points are necessary. So, here is my order. A jr burger (pretty much a tiny kid burger), and a large coke. Very simple, wouldn’t you agree?! Maybe not so much for the workers here. Now, I will also say there were only two other cars besides mine. I ordered first yet got mine last. I could see that the other cars had more people in their cars hence the shit load of food and drinks they got. Fine! Your busy with that but my order came in first and again, IT WAS A JR BURGER AND LARGE COKE!
I got my order a little over 15 minutes! Now, I’m running late and scared I won’t make it back on time. However, I did. I get there, open the package for my jr burger, look at it, and I can already see this is going to be bad. I decided to try it anyone. One bite. The damn burger was burnt to a crisp. I shit you not! The actual piece of hamburger was crispy, that’s how bad it was. One bite was all I needed. I threw it back in the bag. I plan to leave as earl had possible tomorrow and take their burger back when I press that little red button. They are getting their burger back because I sure as hell would never eat a hard, crispy, burnt hamburger.
So, my advice to my fellow, lovely Unilocalers. NEVER go here.
