Dr. Donald T. Frey moved to Smiles on Hurstbourne in 2015 when Dr. James Harrison retired from private practice to become a full time faculty member at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry.

Business Owner

Dr. Donald T. Frey is a graduate of the University of Louisville School of Dentistry and Speed Scientific School. He had a successful career as an engineer in the automotive industry before returning to Louisville to attend dental school.

Dr. Frey started Frey Family Dentistry in 2012 in Lyndon, and in the summer of 2015 moved the practice to the convenient location of Hurstbourne Parkway and Westport Road.

He is an Associate Fellow of the World Clinical Laser Institute, a certified Invisalign provider, and regularly attends continuing education courses in all phases of dentistry.

Dr. Frey has a wife and three children, is an active runner and cyclist, a musician, and enjoys coaching youth sports in his spare time.
